So, I occurred to me why Halloween has endured while Friday and Nightmare have stalled out. Great villians need great heroes. Throughout the series we've had consistent heroes to root for: Laurie, Jamie, Loomis all opposing Michael and we love and root for them.

I saw it in a theater when it came out, I didn't like it initially. But over time, I have grown to like it (in the middle of the pack as far as Halloween movies go) 🙂

The Halloween franchise is not just horror movies it’s a beloved iconic franchise 🧡

I might be the only one but I really wish we could get a cut of the film with that smooth mask before they changed it in reshoots. The smooth look is odd for sure but pretty interesting. Some nice long shots with it in the final film.

I know some people aren’t a fan of this but for some reason I love this movie. It’s my second favorite Halloween movie besides four. I’ve just always liked it and I always will and I feel like it’s the best version of Lori

If anything I felt like there should’ve been a few more deaths.. it felt like they killed Marianne in the e first 9 minutes, & you have to wait for 45 minutes for the last 3 deaths.. But that was around the time of Scream so I was used to a lot more deaths than we got here.
