It's an unnecessary ending just for shock value, prolly done cause she wasn't returning for the 3rd one in which she definitely dodged a bullet there 💀

I liked the plot twist, but to be honest, the scene itself didn't blow me away. I would have expected it to be less cinematic and more violent😅

The recent Halloween movies ruined the franchise by completely erasing Laurie Strode’s history after H20. Instead of killing her off so cheaply at the start of Resurrection, they should have let her survive the fall—Michael stabbed her once, she hit a branch and landed on the grass, and he walked away believing she was dead. Laurie could have gone into hiding, setting up a much stronger continuation that kept her iconic rivalry with Michael alive. Wiping out everything she had been through and forcing her into those last three films was a terrible decision that did a huge disservice to the ultimate final girl.

I laughed out loud when this happened, I was so annoyed at how terrible the movie had been and this absurd death was the cherry on top

After 2018, there are soooo many other routes they could’ve taken to be better than what we got! It’s obvious they didn’t expect 2018 to be a hit!

This ending was beyond stupid. "Oh the masked killer is missing? Better go into that dark house all by myself and ominously look out the window! Sure he took on an entire Fire Department and half the town all at once but surely he won't do anything with police here!"

Such a trash movie but it was so satisfying to see Michael get her

The music, the way this towering killer somehow pops out from behind her like a shadow, the final shot of him just staring out... what an amazing sequence
