My favourite interaction is when Chief thinks he sees Cortana. Arbiter asks "What do you see?" and Chief just fucks off following his hallucination.

Seems like the typical dude friendship. Hangs around each other kicking ass but never bothered to ask each others names

MC also asks him "when did you know?" when the replacement Halo is revealed. Guilty spark answers the question but it's definitely directed at Arbiter
