I like how they foreshadow this in earlier epizode with their monument being seen in city shot

This show doesn’t deserve such high quality budget that it has but damn, this show is a gem.

The animation in episode 4 took a dive, so I was worried about how this sequence would turn out, but there turned out to be nothing to worry about. They're definitely putting in the effort where it matters.
