This goes to show you never know who your real friends are and to never let your guard down. This young boy thought he was out having fun with friends and ended up finding out they aren’t his friends at all. I’ve had plenty of friends throughout the years that I thought was my best friends. The second things went wrong they turned on me. Even other friends who were previously cool with me turned on me because their friend had an issue. This is why I always teach my children that they can only depend on us and each other. Keep your friends close but be wary and question their motives sometimes too. Nobody is ever 100 percent on your side. Sometimes it takes more than others but most people have a breaking point when it comes to loyalty. Have you ever had a friend betray you like this?I think they intended for him to be harmed and that is never okay.

Obama: When someone asked about all of the federal workers fired by the administration, given how important that is to Virginia, apparently her opponent said she wanted to talk about real issues. Didn't understand why these job cuts are a huge thing. Now, I don't know about you, but seeing your neighbors and your friends, your customers, maybe some of your family members, out of work, even though they have dedicated their lives to serving people, having trouble making their mortgage, maybe it is just me. There’s a lot of status anxiety and envy among upper-middle-class strivers. Unlike the working-class people they claim to represent, these downwardly mobile elites still have the tools of their upbringing—degrees, contacts, cultural fluency. They may not have the bank accounts their parents did, but they still hold platforms in media, academia, and politics to broadcast their grievances. Given these advantages—or privileges—it’s no surprise that their concerns, which seem niche to most Americans, dominate the cultural conversation. If someone wipes out your bank account and you’re upper-middle class, you can usually recover. You sometimes hear about people from privileged backgrounds ending up on park benches, but those cases usually involve addiction or mental illness—people who’ve burned all their bridges. I sometimes ask: how many things have to go wrong before you’re sleeping on a sidewalk? For most of us, it takes a long chain of bad choices—betraying or mistreating friends until no one wants you around. There’s also the underdiscussed phenomenon of friends cutting off those who start doing better than them. It happens far more often than successful people cutting off their less successful friends.
