Hana is traumatized and also constantly under pressure because she feels responsible for her entire country's sake. Beyond her bubbly personality and charisma there is a 21 year old who already carries so much trauma and guilt, she's more than a gamer girl, guys.

Like its been years since Shooting Star, there is voice lines that imply how traumatized she is, that before joining OW she'd stay in Korea and never travels bc she has to be there in case there's Gwishin attacks. How is it not evident for some of you?

Some of these mfs cannot comprehend character depth. The gamer girl persona is specially to mask all her guilt and trauma. It’s not that hard to understand but some people want to boil her down to “attractive young gamer girl” and it irks me. Thank you for speaking on this

OW fans have not gotten past the gamer girl gremlin jokes and I understand before shooting star and her new blood comic but it's even in voice lines, it's not subtle so I really hate how people still to this day insist her character has no depth 😭

if some silly in game voices make you reduce her to just that, that's on you, her having some silly voice lines doesn't take away her character development, no matter how little it is.

She legit has PTSD from these fights… PTSD is something that’s very scary and sometimes you lose control

Exactly... everytime i remember her face here when up close with the Gwishin...that's the face of someone who thinks she's gonna die and she repeats this moment in her head all the time.

And people were talking shit about Haz's new interaction with her but he's completely right. Said trauma has made her an easy pawn for Meka and Korea's military industrial complex. Its nice to the writers branching out a bit more with in-game dialogue.

I agree and it's one of my favorite voice line interactions precisely because Hazard questions her entire reason to live and she seems annoyed at it, he is right in pointing out she's merely being used as propaganda but they don't really care for her as a human being
