Potentially very quickly, can also be understood to be potentially not at all, or potentially go up. Me, i'm leaning towards the debt going up by $4.5 Trillion and large company and rich people will in total be about $4.5 Trillion dollars richer. And nobody will see a corrleation

President Trump and DOGE are aggressively finding things to cut, but big-spenders in Congress don’t want to make those cuts permanent. If we kick the debt deadline two years down the road, the cuts will never happen. I propose we take three months to make the cuts real, then address the debt limit alongside the cuts.
