As the water begins its journey towards the region, the project is expected to strengthen irrigation and drinking water supply while also supporting future industrial growth. The water release marks a major step forward in bringing Godavari water to the region, strengthening water security for farmers, villages and industries. From a decades-old wait to a new water lifeline, the Polavaram Left Main Canal is set to open a new chapter in North Andhra’s growth story.
