Happiness is a Trap.

Happiness is more like chocolate cake. Yeah you’ll finish it, obviously. But what else are you supposed to do? Not going to enjoy the cake because you know you will eventually finish your plate? Would you throw it away before eating it since you know it will be finished?

That’s why it’s better to seek purpose and fulfillment rather than happiness.

If you ever meet the love of your life and you've shared a lot of great memories––and no so good ones tossed in––then you'll be at least comforted by the fact that you experienced joy. You took a chance and said, "Yes!" Consider the alternative.

Love is for children. There is no love between men and women, just an interests negotiation. Think about it... God gave you the whole existence, and you will doom yourself in misery over "romanticism"? Come on, man up, do things which nonstop fill you with joy.

The trick is to not look at Happiness as a goal.

Happiness shouldn't be the goal, because you will most likely end up in hedonic pursuits, but it should be appreciated when you're given it by god.
