in honor of Scooby Doo 2 turning 20 years old, here's a thread with fun facts and scenes from the movie:

although a success at the box office, the movie made less money than the first movie so Warner Bros scrapped the production of what was supposed to be a 3rd movie

the plot for the third movie would've been about the main cast being sent to Scottland to solve a mystery of real monsters terrorizing a town, but in the 3rd act it would've been revealed the monsters were the victims

more monsters from the museum were supposed to be turned into real form, but due to time and test audiences getting scared most were ultimately cut

the plot was loosely inspired by the sm season 2 Halloween episode of Buffy the Vampire slayer where kids turned into real monsters by their cursed costumes and Sarah Michelle Gellar's best friend gets a make over by her

Shaggy's body transforms into a woman's body and Scooby into the Tazmanian Devil
