First concert I ever attended was these guys on the Big Bam Boom tour.

I had no idea back in high school in the 80’s, that he was my dad’s age.

Soulful with amazing vocal abilities. A friend got me and my wife into to see them rehearse for their “Our kind of Soul” tour back in 2005. The vocals and adlib’s were crazy to hear as he was fine tuning everything. Their sax player Charlie DeChant was also phenomenal.
