Loved listening to Don Criqui call games. He was criminally underrated as a broadcaster.

Enberg & Olsen. Criuqi and Brodie. Jones & Dawson. Solid!

The glory days of the NFL. For those of us who got to witness the NFL back in those days, we should consider ourselves blessed.

Criqui was one of the young guys CBS hired to broadcast sporting events along with Dick Stockton who was a freelancer with CBS in his younger years. Criqui and Curt Gowdy contracts were dealt for each other in a deal between NBC & CBS.

One of those guys whose voice is so iconic you ought to be able to read his name, close your eyes, and imagine it.

Don Criqui is one of the GOAT. He was on the call for CBS Sunday November 19, 1978 at Giants Stadium. Joe Pisarcik, Herman Edwards….You know the rest.
