the laugh track blew the joke for the TV audience.

The laughing was clearly subdued for Jost’s funny jokes, while it was exaggerated for Che’s jokes, which were also funny. At first I thought there may be some lame Trump sympathizers in the audience. When Che owned up to the prank, it cemented this episode as a classic!

I’m confused by this, cuz you clearly hear laughing. Was that laughtrack for broadcast? I heard the guy yell “you stink” but there WAS laughing…
