i’ve had it in my repertoire for a while but to learn…maybe a month of on/off playing to get the notes…another month to make it sound like music? and could probably work on it for another year but figured it was in good enough shape to share

Remarkable. How many years have you been playing ? I’m in the stage with my son where he’s getting sick of lessons (I was the same way at his age). I’m going to show him this for motivation.

since i can remember but i took formal lessons in middle & hs. if he actually hates it, you’ll have to let it go. but if he’s just in a mood, tell him he’ll become one of those adults who’s sadly reminded whenever he sees a piano that he wishes he’d stuck with it. i know plenty!
