Happy birthday to Herb Alpert, 91 today!

Oh go on, let's have another one! Happy birthday Herb Alpert...

@Paytress I inherited this album from my grandparents. 🙏👍🏻

@Jazzieeiswhoiam 👏👏👏👏👏

Fun Fact (that most of you know, but will be fun if you don't): He's the "A" in A&M Records, who gave us The Carpenters, The Police, Cat Stevens, Peter Frampton, Janet Jackson and LOTS more!

He was always one to toot his own horn

He had like 3 or 4 good albums back then, Underrated.

His later songs were good, too.

@Teawhalem I recall vividly the album cover on Whipped Cream and Other delights. Might have been in 8th or 9th grade.

Happy Birthday Herb!

I am a gigantic Herb Alpert fan!!! God bless Herb, and God's speed. Listen to your music every day.😉🙏

You missed a couple of good ones

Saw them last summer and they are still great.

@wattle1854 Dad used to play this one

Can’t beat a horn section.

Man, how smooth can you get? Highway 101 is pretty good too.

Just saw him perform last Monday night in Atlanta. Sold out concert and he and the brass were amazing!

WOW what a guy. I even adored him when I was a kid. He was so handsome I forgot he played music. Ha. But he is still so handsome!!!! Happy birthday!!
