Happy Father’s Day. #TheWire (Please… no De’Londa hate)

I LOVE this exchange and this entire plot line. It’s my favorite Bey. Even more than the “pit beef and tater salad” scene. His self awareness and actual love for his son shows through his circumstance.

Bey came through for his son when it counted. I respect that.

The most tragic aspect of the Wire for me is that hard working intelligent people like Wee-Bey and Bodie wind up dead or in jail because drug jobs are the only thing available to them…

Love the exchange between Bunny and Wee Bey which led to this, two guys from the streets but opposite sides of the law.

I am more pleased that the writers decided to add this exchange (would love to see what they left on the editing floor). De'Londa was only being real within her reality of being with the feared/respected Bey for years. Who doesn't want "royalty" to continue? Bey knew better.

The end when you see Namond doing a speech for his UN Debate team is one of my favorite scenes. Helped bring closure to the show for me when I saw it full circle
