Oh I love the idea of a creator commentary QR code (kinda like in Portal 2 where once u beat the game, u unlocked the creator commentary and there's these little bubbles between sections through the game where u can listen what the creators have to say and some fun facts Abt it)

@OlanRogers my friend @sunsapphic is a book formatter and uses indesign for all of their projects! perhaps you two should troubleshoot together and she can also share helpful tips/advice 🙂‍↕️

sounds like you're doing a good job backing up your files. try deleting the tmp files from your latest (or a duplicate) version -- that might do the trick otherwise you might have another program or plug-in open that is conflicting with something indesign is trying to control ✌️

When I have software questions usually reddit is pretty helpful, maybe try r/indesign for a quick answer?
