Today was an unbelivable achievement. I will remember my 30th birthday🥲 Surrounded by friends in spirit & in person, family, my beautiful community in chat, on all socials etc 3K+ Subs in one day also is fucking shocking. I can't even process. I cried multiple times, people telling me that I've saved them, changed their life & and shifting their entire perspetcive on life. I will continue to take these comments & thoughts to heart till the day I die. I have always wanted to be a "Goku" or a "Sonic". Since I was a kid that was my dream. The silly high energy guy that everyone can look upto and love, cuz those are the character framings that inspired me, and I wanna give even a fraction, of that energy to people. Rosamund Pike went from being a Bond girl to failing completely as an action star next to The Rock, in a movie so disastrous she was completely out of her depth. Elizabeth Day: Your second failure is your failure to be an action star, as you put it. Rosamund Pike: Oh my goodness, yeah. I mean, it started well with James Bond. But then, when I was making Pride & Prejudice, I got a call to be in the video game adaptation, Doom. I thought, "Yeah, I can do anything. I can certainly go and kill some zombies on Mars." Originally, Ray Winstone was the lead, but he was replaced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Suddenly, I’m in this film with The Rock, and I realized how utterly ill-equipped I was. The first day I met Dwayne, who couldn't be nicer, he was just a completely different beast from a 24-year-old me. He had this team of macho guys, weights on the set, and this intense, pre-take warmup routine that felt like an All Blacks Haka. I was just completely out of my depth. The film was an absolute bomb. It was a catastrophe. You do think, "Shit, is it because I wasn't hot enough?" I don't think I took that side of it seriously, or worked out for the gym body that a better female action star would have done

My brother is a biology professor at texas A&M and asked me if I could speak to his class about my college experience and give any advice. I didn't go to A&M, I went to UCI (zot zot). My college experience was a pretty uneventful one. Got into UCI as a biology major since I thought my parents would be happy with that and I researched that pharmacists are a low-stress high paying job. Quickly realized I hated Biology and went undecided and was really confused on what to do. Considered dropping out but decided I can major in Math to get my bachelors. Then my "dream job" I was working towards was to be an actuary but it required so much work to get in. So I just decided to get a job off the newspaper as an administrative assistant for a small Korean bank.
