This is such a wildly complex scene to put together. It all reads right, and is incredibly easy to follow visually. The fact there's no CGI is even more impressive. Great stunt work, great camera work, great editing, great pacing. I have to imagine this was storyboarded first and then rehearsed about 120 times.

Jean Claude Van Damme was my fav hero growing up for his raw action, superb kicks, and the legendary leg split. When he joined hands with the great John Woo, you wouldn't expect anything lesser.
