Last year, my husband had a seizure during the day.....when he eventually was able to communicate a bit he spoke only in French... this lasted about an hour. Maybe you had a seizure while asleep.

IIRC speaking involuntarily in an accent not your own can be a weird symptom of real disease, most often stroke. Do look after yourself, Sir Julian.
