@SoulProvocateur This beautiful lady is speaking absolute facts 🔥🔥🔥

@SoulProvocateur This is horrible advice omg, this is exactly why black ppl are behind, struggle is a crisis! We are not supposed to struggle, that’s Not life, they’ve endoctrined black ppl to believe struggling builds character and is necessary to prove you’re contributing to society. Nope nope

@SoulProvocateur My take as a trained mental health advocate. You can’t want folks to address mental health but when they do express their feelings, now they’re emotionally fragile. Teach ppl coping skills. Skills at 20 vs 40 are all diff. Plz stop judging ppl & teach. gotta start somewhere 🙏🏾

@SoulProvocateur On the flip side, there are still those who keep the toxic cycle going by ignoring the reasons behind emotional fragility. How we express and respond to our emotions is always tied to the “why.” When emotions are brushed aside, the chance to process and heal from them is lost.

Exactly! 💯 Emotional intelligence, the way it's peddled, is a scam! It's hurting humanity instead of helping us. The only way you can say you're emotionally intelligent is by being so in check of your emotions that nothing rattles you. When speaking, I shouldn't care about your emotions to be "emotionally" intelligent. Instead, I should only focus on the truth no matter how tough it is. Focus on protecting the listeners' emotions ends up distorting the truth because you now have to figure out how to make it palatable and end up embellishing it instead of making it true as it is. WORK ON YOUR EMOTIONS TO AVOID BEING TRIGGERED BY WHAT'S SAID OR DONE. Work on being in control of your internal state. That's more powerful than being protected by lies.

@SoulProvocateur It’s because the Internet and especially because of social media mental illness will only continue to decline because of technology and social media. You want a sounder society you’re gonna need to get rid of electricity then.

@SoulProvocateur There is some truth there, but you also have to look how what has been passed off as being a straight shooter or giving tough love or “teaching/Building character” was actually disrespectful and abusive behavior that many were made to tolerate in the name of being “tough.”

@SoulProvocateur Okk! Some definitely exemplify this and it’s counterintuitive/productive 😮💨🙏🏼

@SoulProvocateur And speaking specifically for my family/ community

@SoulProvocateur We’ve inculcated a lot of buzz words to our everyday life too- Toxic, trauma, manipulation, gaslighting et al..

@SoulProvocateur she’s speaking facts but as humans i’m a big advocate for boundaries and i respect those who take breaks from their reality to reflect on themselves and how they affect those around them.

@SoulProvocateur Mass brainwashing began in early 2020. It's designed very similar to how a cult brainwashes their victims to be dependent, fearful, and compliant. It worked very well on a lot of people.

@SoulProvocateur @SupaDupaQQ Treating the symptoms instead of the roots

@SoulProvocateur 💯! I grew up in the ‘say it to my face days!’ 😉I’m an original latch key kid, we defied death every day and our parents didn’t see us for 10-12 hours at a time. You couldn’t be soft.

@SoulProvocateur She preaching

@SoulProvocateur Facts! I’ve been saying this for a while. We’re living in Fragile Era

@SoulProvocateur 🎯💯🔥 Well said!!

@SoulProvocateur Yes, no one wants facts or truths spoken. They want to be babied and lied to - it’s insane that we are expected to allow bad behavior without saying anything in fear backlash. Especially when the bad behavior is coming from old women who already should know better.

@SoulProvocateur She sounds like a doctor in this.

@SoulProvocateur I couldn’t disagree more. Idc if she’s a therapist, she’s wrong.

@SoulProvocateur Not with this climate you won’t We didn’t get weaker, we just stopped suffering in silence. That’s not fragility, that’s evolution.

@SoulProvocateur Amen young sister! We need more of your critical thinking!👍🏾

@SoulProvocateur We didnt become weaker We became more aware. We’re having the conversations or at least starting to. I think it’s ALWAYS been like this, we just have vernacular for it now. Prime Ex= the black community avoided addressing abusers like R Kelly, Diddy and Bill Cosby, till now.

@SoulProvocateur “WE”

@SoulProvocateur I always say... many of yall mental health professionals couldn't be therapists to my dog 😂 cause ill cuss yall tf out in that office

I agree so much I just agree with this I can see it because I live in a city walking down the street you can see it in the mannerisms of people when you walk by and say hi or when you’re trying to interact they’re ready to lose their minds from being insulted or offended or bothered seemingly scared at all moments ready to have a breakdown

@SoulProvocateur @grok is she right?

@SoulProvocateur 📌🗣️💯

@SoulProvocateur Yeah, this is good

@SoulProvocateur Preach sister.

@SoulProvocateur Accuracy- my mom and dad raised us off of reality and not emotions.

@SoulProvocateur She can say what she wants. But life ain’t meant to be hard. The slightest inconvenience and I’m readjusting my surroundings immediately but that’s me🤷🏽♀️

@SoulProvocateur I 95% agree. The other 5% believes that social media, news, the speed of life creates a process overload for some people

@SoulProvocateur I’VE BEEN SAYING THIS !!!!!!!! 💯

@SoulProvocateur what if we asked if humans were meant to be this stimulated and under this amount of pressure
