The clarity this is premised on is that collectively we act for our own good. Let's look at his participation in that election where he eventually got 8%. If he was that clearly focused he would have understood that we had one chance by putting all our differences aside and backing one opposition. He does not appear like he could choose to lose a battle and win the war. That is what is amplified ultimately at household level until the system is unstable. None can stop the other so it becomes chaotic. Are we responsible for the chaos or the lack of direction? Are we responsible for having different horizons

I'll never forgive him for that. He was probably a project to split votes three ways.

The statement - the people get a leader they deserve is true but only where the will of the people can be freely expressed in leadership choice. Where they are disenfranchised, and it's the gun that chooses then it can't apply wholly.

Mnangagwa was not allowed by anyone, ZanuPF is where it is today because of the army system that protects it but it has never won elections since 2000. Stop comparing apples to oranges !

No, I don’t agree. ED wasn’t voted by the electorate, Trump was. What do u do, when someone abuses democratic systems and installs himself President? He has the Army, Police, Courts, etc. Then Simba comes and says “we deserve him”!!!! No, we don’t, ZanuPF members deserve him.

We’re actually where we are because of him. In 2008, he and his professor friend had an opportunity to think about everyone else but unfortunately decided to back each other and take away the 8% which could have easily settled everything

Simba should shut up and eat his money. All this posturing and lecturing nonsense. He spoilt change in 2008 by running as a fake alternative to weaken MT. Silly man!

But he fully knows he didn't deserve all the votes that were ascribed to him by ZEC in 2008 and still he accepted that as a fair election!

Thats not true because what people voted for is not what we have. Its even worse when its coming from someone who got us here when he split votes through his Mavambo project.

I don't want to sound churlish or oversimplify our problems” then proceeds to do exactly that, simplistically reducing the complex issues . There’s nothing he said that we don’t know .
