This young girl had an encounter with what she believes to be an angel. She was driving home from Florida to Missouri to visit family for Christmas. This husband had just come back from picking up photos for his wife. He parks (kind of) and gets out and then sees his car take off. He didn’t put it in park. Not going to be a good day. The car rolls down, takes out the support beam to his pool patio and continues down into the woods by their house. Poor guy, as he looks on in disbelief, he throws the photos in the garbage can and not his trash. The wife comes out and she is in disbelief too. Could have been worse, it could have went into the pool. 💯 In his defense, it’s a push button and it doesn’t have to be in park to be turned off. He used to drive another vehicle that would automatically put the vehicle in park when the car was turned off by the push button. This one doesn’t do that unfortunately. 😬 How does the insurance handle this? Do you think the manufacturer of these cars bears some of the blame of all these kinds of accidents we see of these cars rolling down without being put in park or is it solely on the human being owner?

This is the pen of Leah, the morning after her first night's sleep here. Every black dot you see is a tick. They are black because they're full of her blood, and growing. (This is one of the reasons why I have only white bedding and floor coverings. If she was in newspaper you'd never see this). Poor little Leah is absolutely smothered in hundreds of ticks, and has fleas, too. Despite the old wives' tale, it's very rare for a hedgehog to have fleas. So rare in fact, that a professor of entomology who studies these sorts of things pays me £20 a go when I send him fleas. Additionally, hedgehog fleas are species-specific, so they can't infest or live on any other animal. A hedgehog has to be seriously ill or incredibly weak to attract ectoparasites such as ticks and fleas. And poor Leah is that weak - she is suffering from starvation, AND she has just given birth. A couple clearing out their shed found poor little Leah huddled with her babies in a pile of blankets, where she'd given birth. They live in army barracks, and their garden is tiny, with no suitable hedgehog habitat. Everywhere is kept 'neat'. Despite this, somehow Leah survived. With a shed substituting for a hedgerow and army blankets instead of leaves and moss, Leah managed to make a maternity nest and have her precious babies. But with no food, she was unable to produce enough milk to feed them, and one by one, the babies died. By the time she was found, out of the 7 babies she had given birth to, only 3 were still alive. I saw the bodies so could tell how many days they had survived. The lovely finders had no idea that things were so desperate for our hedgehogs, and that the dramatic decline in insects, due to the way we are 'tidying' our gardens, meant that they are now suffering starvation. Hedgehogs don't eat slugs and snails, they eat beetles and catapillars. Caterpillars make up almost half a hedgehog's diet, and their emergence is perfectly timed with peak baby season, the time of most need. We're in June, peak butterfly time, but how many have you seen lately? Like most people, the finders were completely unaware of how our bad destructive habits are impacting our precious wildlife, until seeing it with their own eyes. They are now committed to improving not just their garden, but the whole Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, and went home armed with leaflets and kitten biscuits and determination. Meanwhile poor tick infested Leah and her 3 surviving babies are safe and warm here, and she's getting good nourishment and care. It's so important these tiny 5 day old babies don't fall victim to the ticks, as they would not survive. I can't use drugs or chemicals as Leah is far too weak and her babies far too vulnerable. So it's just a matter of cleaning her out every day - the very last thing to be subjecting a new mum to. Despite all her hardship, and me meddling, she's a wonderful mum and doing her best to nurture her sweet babies. Last night, her first night here, she ate an entire dish of special Mother and Baby food - enough normally for 2 or 3 hedgehogs. The sight of that empty dish absolutely broke me. My take on 53rd meeting of Human Rights in UN commission: On June 19th, the 53rd session of the United Nations took place, addressing the current humanitarian and political situation in Afghanistan with a specific focus on the status of women. During the two-hour session, over 24 UN members expressed their apprehensions regarding the situation faced by women in Afghanistan. They called for decisive measures and commitments to enforce human rights, including the persecution of women and girls' rights to education, employment, and freedom of movement. As an Afghan individual who has lived in exile for nearly a generation, I find great satisfaction and empowerment in witnessing that, in this particular session, women were given the opportunity to express their observations, emotions, and experiences. They also provided suggestions on how to engage and bring about change in the face of an imposed reality and identity that is alien to them as women. However, what deeply concerns me, as well as many Afghan women, are the emotionally charged and unethical speeches that are delivered under the guise of ethnicity. It is crucial to understand that the Taliban does not have a preference or favoritism towards any particular group. Today, women from all backgrounds, irrespective of their language, religious beliefs, color, or ethnicity, find themselves abandoned by a group that does not believe in the principles of "rights," a progressive society, or individual and national identity. When we are faced with such group of alien thoughts and practices it is worth to stick with more profound unity & respect toward each other. I refrain to share the video of Ms Sitareh Mohammadi but the way she imposed the prosecution of our Hazaras on Pashtuns was un ethical and I call up on her to respect code of conduct when she further takes part in such broadcasts. The suffering that Hazaras have faced is undeniable, however this must not lead some to discriminate & speak false about Pashtuns. WE ALL ARE EQUALLY ABANDONED! The sooner we know the faster & serious world will take us. When Meg lied on Oprah that a senior royal has worried about what colour of skin Archie would be, I always said It was herself she was talking about. COACHES: If we want to develop better hockey players, we need to talk more about work AWAY FROM THE PUCK. Here are two clips to show your players on this concept. 1. GIVE-AND-GO: One of my favorite youth coaches was from Russia and Tarasov's school of hockey...and his biggest pet peeve was passing and then not moving. He would literally stop practice and make us do a somersault if we passed and stood still. Our team won a national championship, we had half our team play college hockey, and his emphasis on this I think was a huge part of our development. Why is a give-and-go big? When a defender is on you and you pass it, that split second is when they're most vulnerable. They have to look at where the puck goes but also pay attention to you. By moving right away after passing, their attention shifts, even so briefly, which allows you to get open to get it back. Check out this AMAZING give-and-go between McDavid and Draisaitl. These guys are on another level and McDavid is truly superhuman at working away from the puck. 2. WORK TO SUPPORT THE PUCK: On the second clip, watch how hard Tarasenko speeds through the neutral zone to get to a spot of support. If he doesn't, this play ends in a dump in and an easy breakout. But he hightails it, like he's shot out of a cannon, and even though he doesn't get the puck, his speed without the puck allows him to get pressure on the forecheck. 3. WORK TO GET THE PUCK BACK: Then you have Kaprizov, one of the most skilled players in the world, working to track back on the forecheck. His effort helps create the turnover and he gets rewarded with the goal. If you want to play offense, the harder you work away from the puck defensively, the more you'll benefit offensively by getting possession back. Even the best players in the world only have the puck on their stick for maybe one minute during a game. As coaches and in player development, the more we can emphasize play without the puck, the more we'll develop smarter and better players.

Aspen Kartier has a long history of abusing & neglecting her puppy in several ways including poisoning it since he was only a few weeks old by regularly spaying Febreze on it. In the below clip she’s scolding her puppy Louie for wiping the Febreze off as he whimpers and cries and then she goes on to admit she’s been spaying the chemical on her pup since she got him. If a dog gets Febreze in their eyes, it will likely cause immediate pain, irritation, and inflammation. Symptoms include severe tearing, squinting, excessive blinking, pawing at the eyes and potential conjunctivitis. Although not usually fatal, it is a chemical irritant requiring immediate flushing. In another video she complains that her dog’s eyes always has “eye boogers” in them. The dog is most likely suffering and in pain with the chemical irritant constantly being sprayed on him and in his eyes. If a dog swallows Febreze, they may experience mild to moderate gastrointestinal upset including vomiting, diarrhea, drooling and lethargy or potential skin irritation. She’s also repeatedly complained about her dog having accidents. The dog is having accidents because it’s traumatized and terrified from the blatant physical abuse but also probably has gastrointestinal issues from trying to lick the chemical off him. I’m documenting all the evidence of her abusing this dog in addition to the sickening video of her abusing her dog for 3 minutes. Most of you only saw the trimmed version of her abuse; not the full horrifying video. This dog will not survive long if authorities don’t step in immediately. There’s no point in there being federal laws against animal abuse if authorities aren’t going to enforce them.
