8 years ago today, my life changed in an instant. A cycling accident in Killarney left me paralysed from the shoulders down and facing 9 months in hospital. Since then, life has thrown me challenges I never saw coming – including a cardiac arrest in 2019 after getting a clot in my lung – but it’s also given me moments I never could have imagined. I’ve travelled the world, won awards, shared my story on airwaves as a radio presenter, and met incredible people along the way. Every day, I’m reminded that while we can’t always choose what happens to us, we can choose how we respond. My accident took a lot, but it also gave me a deeper appreciation for life, connection, and possibility. Let me respectfully put a few things ON RECORD, not to argue with anybody, but simply to provide context. Advocate Uriri and I have enjoyed a very good relationship for many years, both professionally and personally. In 2024, indeed I bought him a LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 4 for approximately US$120,000 from Brighton, Panjab. I have flown him FIRST-CLASS on his birthday , taken him and his wife on holiday, and on many other occasions I have gladly extended gestures of appreciation to him. Everything was always done voluntarily, FROM MY HEART, because I respected him as my lawyer, valued him as my brother and genuinely appreciated the exceptional work he has done for me. So I am grateful that he graciously accepted my appreciation in the past. If today he has decided that he is no longer comfortable accepting anything further from me, I equally RESPECT THAT DECISION and harbour no hard feelings whatsoever at all. Circumstances and personal choices change, and there is absolutely NO PROBLEM. I will give him reasonable time, and if his decision remains final, we simply MOVE ON to the next. The queue of people who genuinely need assistance and would gladly receive it is endless. 🚦 How Bengaluru Traffic Police Helped Me After an Accident — A Moment I Will Never Forget 🙏❤️ Today, at around 6:30 PM, near C.S.I. Hudson Memorial Church, Bengaluru City Market, I was travelling on my Ambulance Volunteer Motorcycle when a normal road accident occurred. Suddenly, a senior citizen riding an Activa came in front of me. In an attempt to avoid him, I had to apply the brakes suddenly, causing my motorcycle to skid. I fell down and sustained a minor injury to my left leg. What happened next truly touched my heart. Within approximately 30 seconds, Traffic Police personnel reached the spot and immediately came forward to help me. They personally removed the shoe from my injured foot and took the First Aid Kit from my Ambulance Volunteer Motorcycle. They applied the spray and bandage to my injured leg themselves. They stayed with me until I was completely comfortable and ready to get back on my motorcycle. What touched me the most was their concern for my safety. They told me: “If you are not comfortable riding your motorcycle, you can safely park it at Halasuru Gate Traffic Police Station. Your vehicle will be safe here. Please get yourself treated first and take the motorcycle later.” Sir, honestly, I do not have enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation for what these Traffic Police personnel did for me today. I work as a Traffic Warden and Ambulance Volunteer, and I always try to help people on the road. But today, I experienced firsthand the compassion and humanity of our Traffic Police. 🙏 You are not just Traffic Police personnel — you are true heroes on the streets. Your quick response, compassion, and willingness to help an injured person deserve the highest appreciation. I sincerely request the senior officers to kindly take note of this exemplary act of humanity and appreciate the officers who assisted me today. Recognition of such dedicated personnel will certainly motivate the entire team. Suddenly, a senior citizen riding an Activa came in front of me. In an attempt to avoid him, I had to apply the brakes suddenly, causing my motorcycle to skid. I fell down and sustained a minor injury to my left leg. What happened next truly touched my heart. Within approximately 30 seconds, Traffic Police personnel reached the spot and immediately came forward to help me. They personally removed the shoe from my injured foot and took the First Aid Kit from my Ambulance Volunteer Motorcycle. They applied the spray and bandage to my injured leg themselves. They stayed with me until I was completely comfortable and ready to get back on my motorcycle. What touched me the most was their concern for my safety. They told me: “If you are not comfortable riding your motorcycle, you can safely park it at Halasuru Gate Traffic Police Station. Your vehicle will be safe here. Please get yourself treated first and take the motorcycle later.” Sir, honestly, I do not have enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation for what these Traffic Police personnel did for me today. I work as a Traffic Warden and Ambulance Volunteer, and I always try to help people on the road. But today, I experienced firsthand the compassion and humanity of our Traffic Police. 🙏 You are not just Traffic Police personnel — you are true heroes on the streets. Your quick response, compassion, and willingness to help an injured person deserve the highest appreciation. I sincerely request the senior officers to kindly take note of this exemplary act of humanity and appreciate the officers who assisted me today. Recognition of such dedicated personnel will certainly motivate the entire team. I reflected on my spiritual journey and felt an OVERWHELMING need to honor arguably one of my best friends , brother and church members in my life — the person who introduced me KU CHINAMATO CHE JOHANE MASOWE , his name is MADZIBABA TYRAGE "MISPAA" MASAMBA... Back in 2004, we first bumped into each other in London at a place called Harmonsworth. The prophecies and the preaching he gave me at that moment instantly and COMPLETELY changed my life. ❤️ THALAIVAR ❤️ Super Star Rajinikanth ❤️ “Flight of a lifetime” is what I just did. Got to fly with the Superstar of billions of hearts - Rajinikanth sir!!! All stars aligned and with the help of some divine intervention I can say I got a seat couple of seats away from the Thalaivaa in the flight from Hyderabad to Chennai. The reason I used the words divine intervention is because I was never meant to be sitting so close to the superstar. While I was booking my ticket I had booked my seat for middle of the aircraft. But when I was at the boarding gate the flight staff looked at my ticket and struck down seat number for which I had earlier booked - 15E and allotted me 1E seat instead, right in front. This never happened with me in the 20 years of flying in planes. Initially I was happy thinking I would be able to get off the flight comfortably so that would be cool. Then I saw an actress Kayadu Lohar, walk upto me and sit beside me . I was like woah this never happened before , never had an actress sitting next to me you see. Just when I was preparing myself to request the actress for a selfie my eyes diverted towards the flight entrance and just like in the movies Thalaivar Rajini sir does a mass entry in the plane. In the beginning I can’t believe what I am seeing. Rajinikanth sir just smiles at the air hostess and passengers and goes and takes his seats couple of seats away from me. I quickly unfastened my seat belt and approached him for a selfie. Boy oh boy! He didn’t hesitate for the pic and smiled for my camera with his infectious smile. I was like all blown away with his aura and presence. What a graceful and humble human I tell you. So grounded. No fancy dress zero egos.just a simple human being with zero attitude of stardom. Speaks volumes why he is the heartthrob of the country. After taking selfie I shook and kissed his hands expressing my love and gratitude for this moment. Then went back to my seat and like a stalker kept looking at him every minute😂😂. TWITTER APPRECIATION POST. Flashback to 11th of January, this year (2024), after a long night of tears and uncertainty, I made a post of X (Twiter), stating the growth and strides I have achieved so far in my business, where I’d like to be this year, and how I have reached a plateau. I have just used all my entire life savings to rent a whole floor of a building in the heart of Lagos (Ago Palace Way, Okota) and do not have a penny to continue but I needed about 70Million naira atleast to set up the place. I had approached a lot of banks and individuals that I know could afford but to no avail, this, as a result led me to my last resort, “making a post on (X) twitter” on the 11th, and I’d say is my biggest breakthrough since I was born. I made the post around 7am that day, which I had composed overnight while crying heavily. The post quickly gained traction and went viral with the help of ALL OF YOU, it was as if I was dreaming! It was just like a dream, a lot of people came into my DM to ask for my account details and I was seeing cash gifts of hundreds of thousands of naira!!! As if that was not enough, someone I have been admiring and made my role model from afar reached out to me and offered me a NON-INTEREST LOAN OF MILLIONS OF NAIRA! I will keep them anonymous for now, we reached agreements that I should be paying monthly with two month moratorium and to the glory of God, I have never defaulted till this day, which I pray to never ever happen. This was yet, my biggest breakthrough since I was born, and this would not have happened without you reading this post now. It is on this note that I want to personally appreciate you sir/ma for believing in my dream. May I also use this opportunity to reassure you sir/ma that going forward, I will never let you down and I promise to always give back to the society. Thank you for 2024. Sincerely. AKEULA TRENDY

John Cena wasn’t my childhood hero. I actually stopped watching wrestling before his big rise — but even then, everyone knew who he was and the impact he made. When I came back to wrestling later in life, I grew such an appreciation for the kind of person he is. I always admired the way he spoke, the way he carried himself, and how he never felt pressured to follow the status quo or give the answers people expected. This year, I had the privilege of attending so many of his retirement tour matches and appearances. On top of that, I got to stream and react to his final run — and those reactions brought some of the biggest moments of my career… even landing me on WWE’s Unreal series on Netflix. There’s no real way to put into words what this year has meant to me or how much gratitude I have for John Cena. I’m not emotional because he was my childhood hero. I’m emotional because we’re watching a Class A human being walk away from something he gave so much to — something that clearly means everything to him. Without your retirement tour, I don’t know if my year would have looked the way it did. And in some ways, a part of me wonders if this was my retirement tour, too. You never really know with content — there can be a shelf life on these kinds of things. At the end of the day… thank you, Cena. And thank you, everyone, for being here through all of it. 💛 #ThankYouCena
