Case for the defence, all the Australian batsmen who play lots of IPL and their test batting record in India vs Joe Root who has had about 3 IPL games and avg a lot. Ollie Pope, scored 200 on last tour, no IPL. R. Ravindra - 10 IPL games, avg in test in india 51.2.

Don't Miss Any of The Action

I just hope this is not the case but it seems he just got scared of the online responses he got in the last IPL and he just dug a bigger hole for himself when he toured this time. Maybe he also realized with the kind of squad DC has he would hardly get a look in the eleven

Not to mention, the next T20 WC will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Imagine the new captain of England getting out to spin and blaming fog as an excuse at the highest level of international cricket.

You missed out kuldeep & axar patel names jarrod. If he'd played in DC, he'd have faced countless balls in the nets from 2 best t20 spinners going around the world ryt now.

I don't think he can learn how to bat against spin while playing IPL there is alot of money pressure and they way he was treated after his initial few failures it isn't good for any player confidence

An asterisked cricket expert expressing his views on asterisked generational talent

Spot on. With all the talent he has, Harry Brook needs to take the challenge on. Most Australians have benefited hugely by playing in the IPL.

I think Brook took all that Social media trolls shit to his head which prompted this decision...
