Politest way to tell the English media to fuck off ever

Key part here...they all know what Gabriel Clarke was up to.

@BBCMOTD Well said kane. The media love to try fuck there own nation up

I love so much that he comes to the defense of both. Such a class act.

Love this guy man. Hope he wins the World Cup and get that balon dor.

Media manufactured this ‘division’ but Bellingham shouldn’t have bitten on what the media suggested Tuchel said. The way he responded made it seem spiky with the manager not the media where it should have been directed. No issue with him taking a different view as a player on the pitch though.

Has Gabriel Clarke been sacked yet? I thought we’d get past all of this media BS and put downs after the Southgate era…

It is nothing to do with Tuchel or the England players, it is everything to do with the type of journalist Britain generally promotes to seniority - one that loves finding ways to drive a wedge into any possible linguistic crack to create damage and controversy against our own best interests

England should recuse themselves from media coverage especially at this point of time because media will do anything to divide them. Who care what the coach said, they should focus on the next game

Skysports breaking news: Kane defends Bellingham, might loose his armband

Well done @KellySomers Great to hear @HKane address this. The fans are with you even if some journos are not. Obvs, spiking Jude’s post match euphoria was an awful thing to do by Gabriel Clarke. Hope @England keeps him and his bad vibes well away from the squad.

Interesting that even diplomat Kane is saying the question was out of order and put in a certain way to Bellingham that would stir things up.

Hope they tell that skinny weasel Clarke, where to go, the next time he comes looking for an interview.

There's a reason why Thomas Tuchel is an elite gaffer.... he pushes the players to get the best out of every single one of them Always room for improvement and HE WAS RIGHT.... that performance against Norway wasn't good enough

Gabriel Clarke gave no insight to nothing by blindsiding the young players. Those responsible for the "duty of care" for these young players need to do something. They are already in a pressure cooker. We all need to take these rancid reporters to task. ITV need to sack him. 🙏

Well done HC. I'm getting more & more p!ssed off with these football interviewers chipping away trying to find a chink in the armour so they can sensationalise a story. The post-match ITV interviews deserved a two-worded answer, the 1st starting with F: the 2nd being "off".

Skipper Harry Kane is very well spoken. He douses the media fire here but making sure a small issue is not made into something unnecessary and silly. Come on, England!

“Bellingham didn’t know what Tuchel really said” “easy to try and create this division in the team, must be an English thing” nice one Kane, all of you media guys backing Gabriel Clarke can sod off. Don’t know why the media has to sometimes try to be the enemy of the England team

How is this even a thing. English media is poison.

Amen. The media just desperate to create division. Harry rightly telling them where to go

Whole country pulling together in one direction and of course the English media try to cause division, bunch of mongs

Super that from big H, what a captain, what a leader, all nipped in the bud, now can the media fuck off stirring shit, absolute clowns.

@BBCMOTD Can the English media do everyone a favour and just f’ off yeah? Thanks

Dear @HKane remember, this same media, pundits, journos & ex-players suggested the team wasn't good enough to compete at the WC. Because their favourites were not selected. This is another agenda they're trying to create in case you lose to Arg. Please block all the outside noise

Addressed them? The coach is right.. They won yes but if they play like that against Argentina then we lose the Falklands.. an analogy that means marking, defense & attacking for the ball are required to get the ball to Bellingham, Kane, Rashford to score.. Upfront ain't the problem but getting the ball to them without conceding goals is essential. Ghana blocked every opportunity for England to get the ball to the strikers.. Listen to the coach as Germans are pragmatic & efficient because of 'Vorsprung durch Technik'... lol Yeah, I know everyone thinks they're a football manager in Britain and don't know what its like to play in those conditions.. But we have watched enough football to see where the weak spots are.. & we want you to win the World Cup final obviously.. COME ON ENGLAND! You have the skills and need a little fine tuning by the German who is actually right.. Lol

Can we please get off this absolute non-story? What is the obsession with trying to tear down what has been arguably our best performance at a World Cup in the past 50 or so years?

@philmcnulty Gabriel Clarke should be banned from interviewing Tuchel and the players if he’s going to go down the route of trying to cause a rift between player and manager. What he did was the work of a piece of scum and if he has any redeeming qualities in him, he should apologise!

Well done Harry Kane. Well thought out points. Defend his teammate and defend the manager. That’s the right thing to do. Hopefully this will realign the nation focus that they should get behind the players 100%. That’s the only way they stand a chance..

@footballzone__ Even her follow up question about Tuchel being blunt was such a ratty question. The only people that think this are ratty cunty journalists. The team and the fans are together but obviously that's against the wants of the media

@5liveSport ‘Trying to create division’. I see. So asking an obvious question is doing that is it? But a key player questioning the managers understanding isn’t? Please.

How is english media, englands hardest opponent? Every time. Your media is shameless. Stir shit for nothing but their own clicks at the expense of creating friction. English football fans should really understand the trap and not entertain these mugs. For your own sake.

Well done Kane, a captain's performance there, calling out the media's lies & mistruths in the most diplomatic way possible For the BBC reporter, this is an interview I liked, asking straight questions, no mistruths to provoke a headline, to the detriment of the team & nation

So basically They all no now Clarke is a knob and he probably wont get interview time with the players again !

Don't listen to the nonsense from the media we as fans see what they are doing they do not represent us in any way shape or form and we are fully behind the players and manager c'mon england

I’d die for this bloke
