🚨He doesn't have the technique to succeed in Test cricket - Monty Panesar take on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi🤯 Monty Panesar said :🗣️ "I can't see Sooryavanshi transitioning to Test cricket. Harry Brook is the only one right now who's in the top 10 in Tests & T20Is. But I just don't think Sooryavanshi has got the technique. Test cricket is a great grind, and youngsters prefer playing shortest format these days. They want limelight & fame in a short time, that's why the prefer playing T20's & not Test cricket at all. If you have no hunger to play Test cricket, you can't succeed in this format".

If you think pre season is a joke then you have no idea how difficult it is for players to stay in shape and most of this training are connected to how the team wants to play during the season. This is what the first few days in the pre season looks like and medicals like blood test, flexibility check, mobility test, VO2Max test, and the heart test to see if the heart is healthy. My personal view on pre season test is that I hated the VO2Max test and if you are not fit enough the pass the test which usually last for just 15 minutes. When I was at Vitesse Arnhem and Red star Belgrade my medicals took 3days to be completed and it was the longest I ever had. If you don't take your off season trainings seriously you will be exposed on the first day of pre season test and you will be in trouble with the coach.

🚨SHAMI WILL FEEL ROBBED AFTER DOING SO MUCH FOR INDIAN CRICKET - HARSHA BHOGLE🤯 Harsha Bhogle said :🗣️ "We have seen how special Mohammed Shami has been for Indian cricket, how special he had been in ICC events. No one is having a talk about him, he seems to be a forgotten hero. He has done so much for Indian cricket, he will feel like robbed at this point of time. It's not like our bowlers are in full flow, we are tonked regularly. There has to be Shami in India's scheme of things. So, I found this really hard on him. You are playing domestic cricket, you are sweating it out, day in & day out & still no one notices you. Your identity is completely gone & that is the sad part here. He could have been there till the 2027 ODI WC but unfortunately he just can't fit in the management's scheme of things".

🚨When Ajinkya Rahane Still wanted to play test cricket but I got no response from selectors🚨 Michael Atherton🗣️: You’re 37 years old now, but it feels like you haven't given up hope of playing Test cricket for India again. Do you have conversations with the selectors, or do you just keep churning out runs? Ajinkya Rahane🗣️: For me, it’s all about focusing on what I can control. Frankly, I tried to have conversations with the selectors, but I got no response. As a player, I can’t control that. What I can do is keep playing red-ball cricket, enjoying the game, and giving my best. I just love Test cricket ,that passion keeps me going. Nasser Hussain🗣️: When you led that legendary 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy comeback after 36-all-out in Adelaide, what was the dressing room like, and how was Rishabh Pant to manage? Ajinkya Rahane🗣️: Adelaide was completely quiet. Everyone was down. But Ravi Shastri’s energy was amazingly positive ,he told us, 'Don't think about cricket for two days, just chill. From Melbourne, we go again.' As for Rishabh Pant, in Brisbane, whenever we tried sending a message to him, he did the exact opposite! So we decided, 'Better not send any message, just let him play his own way!' And he delivered something truly special. Michael Atherton🗣️: How do you view Shubman Gill’s captaincy so far? Ajinkya Rahane🗣️: I'm always a very frank guy. I think Shubman still has a long way to go ,he is still learning the nuances of Test cricket. T20 is completely different, but in Tests, as a captain, you have to be extremely proactive with fields and session planning, especially against aggressive teams like England.

🚨ODI WORLD CUP IS WON BY EXPERIENCE NOT BY PICKING SLOGGERS - MICHAEL VAUGHAN🤯 Michael Vaughan said :🗣️ "Rohit Sharma is getting all the limelight in India but this time for all the wrong reasons. I know India has won back to back T20 World cup titles, but you can't always win with young blood, you can't always win with blind sloggers. In ODI cricket, you need experience & stability because it is a long format. You can't hit every ball for six, you have to build your innings slowly & South African pitches will be 270-280 kind of tracks. So, if Rohit Sharma misses that flight, it will be a massive miss for India. Although, they are not realising it right now".

🚨 Ajinkya Rahane & Pujara Open Up About Their Test Retirement During IND vs SL Live Match 🚨 Vivek Razdan 🗣️: Pujara and Ajinkya, both of you have a great record in Test cricket. Do you think you retired a little early? Ajinkya Rahane 🗣️: Pujara and I always wanted to score runs for India and help the team win. Retirement is never an easy decision. When we were left out of the Test team, we just wanted more clarity about our future. Cheteshwar Pujara 🗣️: Yes, clarity is important when a player is left out. It helps you understand whether you should prepare for a comeback or start looking ahead.

How can a 99% accurate medical test give you a 9% chance of having the disease if it comes back positive? 🤔 If you are in medicine this is the SINGLE most important diagnostic testing concept to know. Welcome to the difference between specificity and positive predictive value. Sensitivity & specificity are fixed test properties. These do not factor how common a disease is (prevalence) Positive Predictive Value (probability a positive test reflects having a disease) factors in prevalence and is actually more important to clinicians than sens/spec. It is harder to figure out though because we need to have a gestault for how prevalent a disease is for the EXACT patient we are seeing. If you have very low prevalence, even with a great test, most positives are false positives. This is why screening low-risk patients can result in many false positives and harm To master this, just play with the calculator yourself and you will see!!!!👇

🚨SELECTORS SHOULD HAD A WORD WITH ROHIT SHARMA LONG BEFORE - HARSHA BHOGLE🤯 Harsha Bhogle said :🗣️ "Rohit Sharma is still ready & upbeat about playing the 2027 ODI WC & so was the selectors. But, what transformed all of a sudden? He was working hard, day in & day out on his fitness & almost sure about his body & fitness but all of a sudden, everything changed. I thought selectors made up their mind before the Afghanistan series or may be before, then why they delayed everything? They should have told him earlier & communicated with him. There was a clear lack of communication & you announced it in between the series with World cup not very far away. That's a clear disrespect to the legacy, to all those achievements, everything he has done for the country".

🚨When R. Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane had a beautiful conversation 🚨 R. Ashwin🗣️: "Jinx, you've been grinding it out in domestic cricket and captaining Mumbai. How do you maintain that hunger for red-ball cricket year after year?" Ajinkya Rahane🗣️: "For me, it’s purely about passion. When you step onto the field, whether for India or Mumbai in Ranji Trophy, the ball and bat don't know what stage you're on. You just have to love the process of grinding out sessions, keeping yourself fit, and contributing to the team." Vimal Kumar🗣️: "People always talk about the famous 'Mumbai School of Batsmanship'. What makes Mumbai's cricketing culture so unique and tough?" Ajinkya Rahane🗣️: "It starts early. Traveling two hours one way in local trains with a heavy kit bag teaches you resilience before you even reach the ground! If you get out early, that long journey back hurts. That hunger to value your wicket comes from those daily struggles." R. Ashwin🗣️: "That mental toughness is why Mumbai produces players who excel under extreme pressure. We’ve seen it firsthand in tough overseas Test series." R. Ashwin🗣️: "How do you view the balance between young players coming through the IPL and the traditional Ranji Trophy grind?" Ajinkya Rahane🗣️: "IPL gives exposure and confidence, no doubt. But red-ball domestic cricket builds your temperament. To play Test cricket, you need patience and session-by-session discipline. Both formats complement each other, but the foundation always comes from multi-day cricket."

I'm jumping on the opportunity of our current trip to Chongqing to do a health test: I do it once a year in China, always with the same company (iKang, which has test centers all over China) and it is the most comprehensive health test you can possibly imagine. As you can see in the videos the place is divided into small rooms, and in each room there's a doctor performing a specific test (blood test room, IRM room, x-ray room, ECG room, etc.). I'll do about 25 rooms this morning, in the space of approximately 2 hours, resulting in me being checked for hundreds of possible health issues (including, for instance, all testable cancers). The market price for this is RMB 8k (about $1200) but like every year I managed to get it at a heavy discount for RMB 2k or about $300 (most people get a discount, I don't think anyone pays the full price). Which considering a visit to a specialist doctor in China typically costs about RMB20, is actually very expensive and shows just how comprehensive this test is. Lastly, public service announcement: everyone should get health tests yearly if they can, especially for high probability issues (like prostate cancer for men), early detection often makes all the difference.

#ThoughtForTheDay Getting older is just a part of life, but for a Dog, it's the ultimate test of loyalty. We don't mind the grey on our muzzles or the cloudy eyes, as long as your hand is still there to steady us. We don't need to run for miles anymore; we just need to know that you'll walk at our pace, however slow that may be. If you are lucky enough to have an old Dog waiting for you today, please be gentle. Give them an extra minute to get up, a little boost when the stairs feel like mountains, and all the patience in the world. They spent their whole life rushing to the door for you; now, it's YOUR turn to wait for them. The older #DogsOfTwitter 🐶 ❤️

🚨 Dinesh Karthik Names the Best Current All-Format Players in World Cricket 🚨 Michael Atherton:🗣️ Just give me who you think are the best three or four multi-format players today. Dinesh Karthik: 🗣️If you put me on the spot and ask me, I would say Shubman Gill is there. I would definitely say Travis Head is there as well. And you have to say Harry Brook. Now that goes without saying. And the fourth one would be a toss-up between Rachin Ravindra and Yashasvi Jaiswal, even though Yashasvi doesn't play T20 cricket, nor does Shubman Gill play T20 cricket for India.

Just wrapping up my 3rd annual 1:1 trip with my kid, what an incredible year. Tokyo and Shanghai. He planned the whole trip end to end himself, including the wrench he threw in ~4 hours out that we were going to go with completely empty suitcases, so we flew into Tokyo with just the clothes on our backs. Tokyo was amazing as always and we had no real agenda, we wandered around, bought clothes for the trip, ate Tsukemen every day, walked like 10km+/day, spent an evening at a Japanese version of a pc bang, and generally just enjoyed the city. Shanghai was totally different, his entire trip was centred around wanting to go see The International (TI15). We had camped out at midnight and tried to scoop tickets and they sold out in like 0.1s, and there was 0 reselling allowed. We tried literally everything we could to get them, emailed teams, coaches, announcers, everything and just like no luck for 2 months leading up to the trip. Two people responded SirActionSlacks and Will, and man were they amazing. Both went way out of their way to make the event incredible and to make a 12 year old loves dota have the time of his life. We met up with his friend who was also in Shanghai and just spent 4 days watching dota 15 hours a day in the arena lol. The event was insane, production quality A+, and it was one of the most insane TI finals of all time. Luckily we got to sneak in some time around Shanghai and wandered into some awesome dumpling shops, but ultimately the trip was amazing and he says the best he’s ever had of the 3. By far the best thing I do every year, and would highly recommend to any parent who has the opportunity.

The story of building Reaper, my 500 mph RC airplane (part 2) By late April the plane was built: > carbon skins laid up from CNC-cut molds > waterjet-cut internal rib structure > 250N turbojet characterized with custom inlet and nozzle > 30ft catapult tested with a 3d printed dummy (it fell over so changes were made before the maiden) One problem left: nowhere to fly it. You can't test a 500mph jet at Piedmont Park. So I spent an entire afternoon cold calling farmers until one said yes, 3 hours south of Atlanta. His only condition: his wife and kids got to come watch. Test day 1: we drove down, set up, and then the rain and fog rolled in. The FPV camera kept fogging over. I made the tough call to pack the plane up untouched and drive 3 hours home. Test day 2 was the sunday before final exams, the last possible window of the semester. We spent an hour setting up the launch rail, and right as we were about to fly I reached for my controller. It was sitting at home. 3 hours away. My roommate Luca grabbed it and met me halfway. We got one flight in, right before sunset. Reaper hit 600 km/h (370 mph) on its maiden. If we hadn't flown that day, the plane would've sat in my apartment all summer. Sometimes the hardest part of engineering isn't the engineering. More soon.

Do you know what the smoothest OS is now? It's not iOS18, I think it's Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT. Although I haven't come into contact with the OS myself, I was surprised to see the video released by the beta tester. 24 apps were opened continuously without any lag or delay. Even iOS may not be so perfect. someone will ask the question that has been asked countless times again: What's the point of testing like this? We don't use mobile phones like this. I will give these people a clear answer today. This is called "fluidity stress test", which is the same test logic as 3D Mark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test. Why don't you ask 3D Mark, "What's the point of testing the game 20 times like this?" Instead, you still regard this test as a very valuable test project? It is indeed valuable. So it is also very valuable to open multiple apps in a row to test the system's stress resistance, as shown in the video. You can test the phone you are using. If it can pass the test, then it must be responsive and less sluggish in daily use. If your phone cannot pass the test, then you will definitely encounter sluggishness, frame drops, and unresponsiveness when you are busy operating between multiple apps. This is the deep-rooted problem of One UI. If One UI can operate so smoothly, then Samsung will succeed. But for Samsung now, this video is a science fiction film.

🚨GAUTAM GAMBHIR MASSIVE STATEMENT ON HIS FUTURE AS INDIA's HEAD COACH🤯 Gautam Gambhir said :🗣️ "I am here to display the results & frankly speaking it has been a roller coaster ride so far. The main goal is always to win major tournaments & team has won Champions trophy & T20 World cup. There will be bad days offcourse, but this is how it goes sonedays. I don't listen to the outside noise & we have set our plans for the 2027 ODI WC. This is our first preference & then you can decide my future. I have been appointed as the coach of Indian cricket team to make it the best team in the world & we have been one of the most consistent teams in white ball cricket for some time now. We are in a transition phase in red ball cricket, and the team will get better with time".

🚨 Omar Berrada responds to Michael Carrick’s call for more Manchester United signings. 🎙️ Interviewer: “Omar, Michael Carrick has made it clear that he still wants to strengthen one or two areas before the window closes. Should supporters expect Manchester United to make more moves?” 🗣️ Omar Berrada: “Yes, we understand exactly where Michael is coming from. We know the squad has to keep improving. We don't want to stand still simply because we've already made some good additions. But our approach has to remain disciplined. We're assessing the options available to us and looking for players who genuinely improve the team, not players we bring in just to increase the numbers. Manchester United is a club that has to compete for trophies, so the standard has to be very high. If we find the right player, in the right position, who fits the football we're building, we'll make the move. The objective isn't to make more signings. It's to make the right signings.”
