Tragedy struck Islamic Senior High School at Abrepo in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, when a Form Three student, identified only as Abass, fell to his d£ath from the top floor of the school’s administration block. The incident occurred in broad daylight during school hours, leaving students and staff deeply shocked as many rushed to the scene. Reports indicate that prior to the incident, Abass, a Business student who was serving as Boys’ Prefect, had allegedly been caught in an inappropriate situation with a female student by a teacher. The matter was reported to the school authorities, who subsequently summoned Abass’s mother for a disciplinary meeting to discuss the issue and determine appropriate consequences. According to persons close to the family, including his mother and uncle, as well as some students, Abass became deeply distressed after learning that his mother had been called to the school and even informed her of his intention to hàrm himself. Those who knew him revealed that he had been struggling emotionally for some time and had previously made statements about taking his own lïfe. Tragically, his family members and peers reportedly did not take these warnings seriously, assuming he was not serious. The Odyssey maximizer. Of the people who claim to have read the Odyssey, I would say at best 15% of them have. And of that 15%, maybe 10% genuinely had the knowledge, familiarity with the time, people, place, technology, wars, cultures and conflicts to have anything of interest extracted and result in knowledge of the material. It’s like they “died with the odyssey” rather than “from the odyssey” Most normal people don’t want to spend a lifetime in the rabbit holes of “why did xyz use this word and not that word” “why did he say this and not that” and so on and so on, forever. How many copies of the book sold last year, maybe at best, I’d guess worldwide - maybe around 200,000 and that’s across all countries, languages, translations and they all seem to those convene on X like it’s the bar on Cheers “Norm!” I have studied in depth Machiavelli, the sources Machiavelli refers to, the Borgia’s, The medicis, the history of Florence, his plays and not just Livy’s histories but the histories he used as source material, so I understand machiavelli’s intention of irony, I understand thr use of cruelty in the shocking death of de orco , I understand his use of numbers and so in and so in. I have read many many academic papers covering the most minute things in his works. I don’t discuss Machiavelli except in passing, I acknowledge “oh you read The Prince (a shorter book usually assigned in schools because it easily fits within the semester)” and then usually disengage. Should a movie be made of any of his works I would see it and if it gets a few people interested in learning more and going to the library that would be great. Likewise, for almost all people - the Machiavelli movie would be enough to have satiated their desire to know ‘who he is and what he wrote and why he wrote it’ I am not a snob. I read just enough Plato to say “I read Plato” and that’s it. Some people want to delve deep into his works. I didn’t - but by definition I have “read Plato” But Plato is easy to read because it’s bite size. The odyssey isn’t bite size. Remarkable that on this platform that exploits a super quick attention span, these same users who can’t make it though an axios article or a 4 tweet thread can flip a switch in their noodle and transform themselves into the Burgess Meredith character in The Twilight Zone. This bride was outside with her groom going through the walk through before the ceremony. One of her best friends took this video of her dad sitting in this window who had been watching the whole time. The first man who ever loved her. 🥹 As a father I’ll say this, if that was me, I know I would be thinking about all the years that have flown by, remembering her running around as free as a bird with the whole world ahead of her. In that moment I would feel love, regret, passion, purpose, sadness, joy but most of all, I would be so proud of the daughter I’m giving away. To us, our daughters will always be our baby girls. The best way to prevent the conflict in West Papua from spreading further and reduce the loss of life for civilians in West Papua is to restore the political rights of the West Papuan people who have been manipulated by Indonesia, America, the Netherlands and the UN. Furthermore, supporting the West Papuan Nation to achieve independence is not a violation, but is a right that must be protected by all people in the world. Since the beginning of Indonesia's leadership in West Papua, many indigenous West Papuans have felt that their political rights have been ignored and manipulated. This is related to the colonization carried out by Indonesia over West Papua without the blessing of the indigenous West Papuan people. Efforts to declare West Papua's independence have been hampered by intervention from outside parties such as the United States, the Netherlands and the UN, which favor political and economic interests. Restoring the political rights of the West Papuan people should be done by giving them the freedom to determine their own destiny without interference from outside parties who have certain interests. This can be done through fair and transparent dialogue between the Indonesian government and representatives of the West Papuan people. From VICTIM to VICTORY… My attention has been drawn to the UNFORTUNATE CRITICISM directed at the woman in the video circulating on social media, who did not receive USD100 like other airport staff during my recent visit to VICTORIA FALLS. As I prepared to board my private jet back to Harare in the company of my BEAUTIFUL and beloved partner, I felt deeply moved by the airport staff who were on duty, sacrificing time with their families during Christmas time. Out of gratitude and compassion, I decided to bless the STAFF wearing green reflective vests with USD100 each as a small token of appreciation. Unfortunately, this kind gesture was MISUNDERSTOOD, and other non-staff members, including the woman in question, began to join in, leading to the regrettable incident. In the video, one of the women mistakenly received USD100 before I realized the group included non-airport employees. When I stopped giving out the money, the woman in the pink top and blue jeans was unfortunately left out, despite making frantic requests to also get the USD. This incident has REGRETTABLY subjected her to ONLINE RIDICULE and DEROGATORY comments. I personally don’t know this woman, but I wish to extend my HEARTFELT apology for the public embarrassment she has endured, as well as to her FAMILY AND HUSBAND, if she is married. I understand her actions. I would have done exactly the same thing if I saw a MILLIONAIRE giving money in that context. This woman simply decided to seize the OPPORTUNITY out of hope and necessity. So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. I grew up in the Middle East, I survived both wars and our culture. It takes much more than a bunch of losers throwing an emotional tantrum to intimidate me. Harry Pettit 🇱🇧🇵🇸 is the teacher at Radboud University in Nijmegen who urged Dutch universities or the pro-Palestine mobs, to be specific, to give me “the warm welcome” I deserve, inciting the violence we witnessed today. Instead of teaching students to engage in dialogue, to challenge my position and try to understand why I identify as a recovered antisemite, he abused his position and acted as an anti-Israel activist leading a mob of angry, privileged, spoiled young men and women, most of which have never been to the Middle East and do not know the very basics about our region and the Arab-Israeli conflict. What I saw today on campus in Nijmegen is a display of moral bankruptcy, a despicable sense of entitlement and boiling frustration. A frustrated teacher who was previously arrested for his disruptive behavior could not cancel my events in the Netherlands. He came to the door and did not have the courage to come in. Instead he orchestrated a loud and aggressive protest outside and sent a few of his “disciples” to disrupt and be escorted out by the police risking their future being tainted with a criminal record. But who cares if Harry Pettit 🇱🇧🇵🇸 thinks they are heroes. In his (and their) world, I am a genocide apologist who was “sent off”. After my event, we were escorted by security and the police to prevent the pro-Palestine mob from lynching us. The innocent students who were “thrown to the ground” were trying to physically attack us and when they could not, they were punching and kicking the car, trying to open the doors, to get the driver out. They also jumped in front of the car to prevent us from leaving. If the police wasn’t there, what would they have done to us? Unfortunately, I noticed that CENTCOM released footage of the destruction of a historic fighter jet at the 3rd Tactical Fighter Base of the Iranian Air Force in Dezful. It was a decommissioned MiG-23BN of the Iraqi Air Force that had defected to Iran in 1991 and I was trying to have it transferred to the Iranian Air Force Museum in Tehran in 2012. However, the aircraft remained in Hamedan following to my arrest by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, and unfortunately this historic aircraft was destroyed today. This MiG-23BN defected to Iran in January 1991 during Operation Desert Storm, and it was one of the over ten MiG-23s that defected to Iran. Unfortunately, almost all of them were scrapped in Dezful and Hamedan and their wreckage were moved to Tehran, and the last one, which was supposed to be displayed in the museum, was finally destroyed by a U.S. Air Force MQ-9A drone in Hamedan. I also noticed that all F-4s of Shahrokhi Air Base had already been evacuated from the base to protect them from the threat of U.S. airstrikes. Therefore, what remained there was this historic MiG-23BN of the Iraqi Air Force, which was parked in one of the hardened aircraft shelters.
