@AshwiniVaishnaw doesn’t care, tried 4-5 times Tatkal ticket , website throws me out giving one or other login error, finally booked WL normal ticket which remain waitlisted, but #irctc earned good Rs120 cancellation charges

It is most probably a Trojan Horse. Tatkal tickets are difficult to book just because the infrastructure has not been updated but our population has increased significantly. I remember, I could easily book tatkal tickets 10 years ago. If someone is claiming to have this kind of software then their claims should be taken with a grain of salt.

It's going to be hard for them to stay public. The companies that are less exposed are ones based on data that has been collected and captured over a period of time. ERP is a great example. There is no compelling reason for someone to put their career at stake by ripping out NetSuite. NetSuite has more time to build AI agents on top of it because they have the data, they can train the AI agent on top of it and bundle it. Joe Rogan says Democrats and Republicans are “the same structure with a different face.” Important we remember this right now. Harris/Walz is not a Unity ticket. Trump/Vance is not a Unity ticket. Both sides are doing their best to attack the other for how extreme they are, while simultaneously positioning themselves as some sort of unity ticket for the people in the middle. At the end of the day they’re both extreme tickets for the culture war issues, and then bought/paid for by the same companies that are causing our existential issues. If you want more of the same for the next 4 years, a vote for Trump/Vance or Harris/Walz is perfect for you. If you want actual change in our government you should look into possibly putting your vote somewhere else.

Booked a Tatkal Sleeper ticket today from kanpur central to New Delhi. Filled every detail in seconds, but IRCTC kept showing- "We are experiencing high load." Tried repeatedly, Then my ID got locked out. Minutes later, every seat was gone. So the question is - who actually gets these Tatkal tickets? "If you have ambitions to be a Professor at Yale, Harvard, or one of these big institutions, the way you do that is mostly by getting funding for research. It's by getting a lot of publishing - a lot flying around the world to talk about something. You need all of these things to bolster your reputation as an international expert in this area. Now, the best way to do that, at least in psychiatry but I suspect in other areas of medicine, is actually to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to run clinical trials. They write the publications for you - most of it, they do a lot of the grunt work, they give you the protocols, and then, essentially, they fund you and fly you around the place. I used to remember, as a junior doctor, looking up to the Professors. And they would say, 'These drugs are safe and effective. There's not a lot of problems there.' ...What I've seen more and more is that they've been compromised, and that they have incentives tied to the money and to career advancement. That means that they can't be as forthright as they ought to be about these things. And it's gotten to a problem where these are the Professors who are training the doctors who are setting the tone for what is acceptable care out there.
