Feminism is the single worst thing to happen to Western civilization in the last 70 years. It destroyed the traditional nuclear family, the foundation of that civilization, and castrated the male labor force and the ability to raise a family on one income.

The goal of feminism was to turn women against men and destroy the family and the birth rate. It has nothing to do with protecting women or improving their lives.

This is a very reductionist view and romantized version of a history that never existed for women. Most women were not happier in the olden days, but men certainly were.
