🚨 Sir Alex Ferguson statement on the next FIFA presidency Election: 🗣️"If reports are true that Nasser Al-Khelaifi is considering challenging Gianni Infantino for the FIFA presidency, then football could be heading for one of its biggest political battles in years. Leadership at FIFA shouldn't be about power or influence—it should be about protecting the game. Whoever wins must put football first, not personal interests. The next FIFA election could shape the future of football more than any World Cup ever has."

🚨 Roy Keane on a live Sky Sports debate: 🗣️"I've got absolutely no sympathy. If you're the FIFA president and you're thinking about selling stakes in the World Cup, then you've completely lost the plot. Football isn't some business project for investors to cash in on—it's the biggest sporting event on the planet. People spend their lives dreaming of playing in the World Cup, and fans spend fortunes following their countries. Then you've got people in suits looking at it like it's another asset to sell. It's embarrassing. If that's the direction you're taking FIFA, then step aside. In fact, don't just step aside—get out. Football has always been about the supporters, the players and the game itself, not about squeezing every last penny out of it. Put football first, business second. That's how it should always be."

Football is a universal language that brings people together, regardless of their backgrounds, beliefs, or political affiliation. Thus, this regime's wholesale ticket buying, which denies genuine football fans the opportunity to see their #HarambeeStars, should be condemned. I'm sponsoring 500 fans to attend the next three #CHAN2025 Harambee Stars matches at Kasarani through the Kenya Football Fans Federation (KEFOFA), of which I am the patron. Football is for everyone.
