He’s absolutely right on this. What is that all about?…

Cork to the core. It's not sport to Roy, it's war.

Please it is soccer not war. The opposition players are still your colleagues

Tbh,Roy is just selling the bitter uncle angle for the clicks now. Game's become a lot more, for a lack of a better word- Chill rn Rivals at club play for the country together and that's true for coaching relationships too. Most of this is just being a good professional imo

Couldn’t agree more.

100%

Game's mot gone, you're just a dinosaur. The game will always evolve. Go watch your glory days and be quiet

Roy, is right. If your team won mine like City at Utd weeks back, why will I shake the opponents?

Different times , now it's all about fair play and respect all round in the game

Funny 😁 but he is right

Is it necessary? Kean you are old go and take care of your family.

He has. Completely pro-formative

I believe it started from frequent latin football with post match brawl. Fifa then imposing mandatory handshake post game. Cmiiw

I feel Roy Toddlers play football now

It's because modern fans feel closer to teams because of all the social media. This builds more of a connection with fans. It's different than when Keane played, but just because it's different doesn't make it bad.

Unai Emery doesn’t go on the pitch after. He goes down the tunnel.

Running out of content?

Now I understand Unai Emery

the way hes just staring at the camera like we all owe him money and honestly maybe we do

100% he has a point,
I'm sure the kids in the ground appreciate the players having a stroll around the pitch especially if it's thy only game they see a season

Forget the handshakes before the match, all soccer players should be made shake hands with the opposition After the match. Bring back some old school respect.

Stupid take!
