Has Tata started compromising on build quality? This doesn’t look like a major accident, yet look at how badly this relatively new Tata has taken the impact after hitting a Kia Seltos. Tata has always marketed itself around strong build quality and safety, and that reputation is a major... show more

Crumple zone doing what it's supposed to do.

It's a hatchback so profile and the bonnet bending is part of the crumble zone - the safety is as expected and performed well there is nothing wrong here

It's an EV and therefore has no engine in front, but only a electric motor. Also, the height difference tells you that the body frame of Tata EV is lower than that of Kia. The thinner bonnet crumpled againt the rear frame on impact.

EV front bonet does not have same structure like ICE front.

For Tatas, human life is more important. This is a safety feature so that the car takes the maximum impact and doesn't pass on to the passengers.

Tata ka loha 🤡

Visible damage = weak build. Front crumple is part of the design in light sedans versus heavy SUVs.

Dude posts everyday some crap for engagement unknowingly showing how dumb f he is.

It doesn’t prove anything. U don’t know speed of car Whether Seltos is stopped or moving slowly. There are N number factors happens during design and in case of crash. By just looking video u cant figure it out. What if tata pushed from back by another car ?

One crash photo isn’t enough to judge build quality. Crash angle, speed, impact point, vehicle structure and safety-cell performance all matter. real question is what the crash-test data says not just how damaged the car looks.

Bata motor is Chinese OEM cars ,bogus bulid quality markings and pr

Yo kid,,,, are you mad?

Tata take it as a granted

Crash damage alone can’t prove weaker build quality; impact angle, speed, crumple-zone design, and where the vehicles absorbed the force matter far more than appearance.

Yes can't be expected from tata people go to them because of durability and safety

I think so

Dude engine bonnet of all cars are not heavily built.. Evennif u take skoda bmw etc etc all cars engine bonnets are so vulnerable even small accidents xan ruin it.. They are made lil less heavier for safety reasons..

Hahahhaha people talking about crumple zones and all for tata and when the same is with Maruti its tin kaa dabba.

A. a sedan ramming into suv, non supported portion of tigor got impacted by the point where chasis is present for seltos. B. It is a Tata product from pre Covid era( the vehicle could be young but product is old) , where 5 star wasn't common for it.

Ab wo baat nahi rahi inme

Tigor was never 5 ⭐. It was 3 ⭐ at max... It's an old design... It would have been a different story with Nexon or punch even

@AUTOINTELIN @shreemallatheru @NsNitinsinha Tata build quality says bye-bye 😅

🤣🤣🤣Brother, a crumpled bonnet means the safety engineering worked perfectly! It is engineered to crumple first to absorb kinetic energy.

well these are some real examples of tata cars and it has nothing to do with safety. That's a plastic in front, what do you expect? Fake videos across internet has made people so dumb that they cannot even understand what's impact and crumple zone.

Crumple zone is supposed to crumple, in a similar way halmet is supposed to break in event of accident and take shock

Oh god all this literally shouldn't matter when the people inside are safe
