Microsoft made an enormous mistake by making AI features a higher priority than protecting user privacy. If data goes into a local LLM, then data can be extracted from it. Just wait; malware will likely automate the exfiltration of sensitive Recall data.

Most of the people don't care about privacy. This will not change the marketshare of desktop OS. Whoever prioritizes privacy and security is already on Linux
