I attended Dr. Doyin Okupe's commendation service earlier today. In what would have been his 73rd birthday today, his family, friends and well wishers gathered to celebrate a man whose life was a blessing to those close to him. It was also a moment for me to publicly talk about my relationship with him, his struggles and other things before he left this world. It was the moment for me to speak the bitterest truth. It is my prayer that God rest his soul. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his family and loved ones.

He was spotted hanging around suspiciously at the Mogadishu port, checking out the Turkish drilling ship. This ship is a big deal Turkey sent it to Somalia for oil and gas exploration, and Somali people think it could really change Somalia’s future for the better (like bringing in resources and development). Who is Najih? He is from Somali family that supports Somaliland’s separatism(they were based in Hargeisa), and his family used to live in the UAE before moving to Europe. Yesterday morning did not start out how this family was expecting it to at their ranch. They got an animal alert on their security camera and were surprised to see a dog hanging out by their gate. Their dogs were barking at him, so they put them inside and went back down to investigate. He was curled up in that corner of their fence for nearly an hour when they looked back at the camera footage. They could see he was a puppy and were hoping he'd just wandered from his home. They took him up to their dog ranch to see if they can reunite him with his family. They wait 7 days to see if they can find owners and then they put them up for adoption. I hope I’m wrong but he is about the right age for a Christmas puppy that has now gotten too big. 💔😢 I hate people but what a beautiful boy. ❤️
