And why not cut Root emissions by 50%? I can’t see a downside. If I’m overlooking a critical balancing factor here, please lmk me.

@KeithSingery @DavFields @here4impact As new subnets are born, there is an initial gush of subnet emissions which goes to root stakers for a few weeks. Because there have been SO MANY new subnets registered lately, this has created a steady ~10% extra emission on top of the 15%.
