The situation in Shimla where a Hindu family’s shop was locked and taken over is very serious. It is completely wrong to harass anyone or forcibly take their property, especially when they have been running it since 1947. When people from the Mu£lim community or any other group involve themselves in such illegal possession and bullying, it creates a lot of fear and tension. This kind of behavior is totally unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any society. The authorities must take immediate and strict action against those who are causing this trouble. It is the responsibility of the police and administration to ensure that no one is bullied out of their own shop or home. The law should be the same for everyone, and those trying to grab property by force must be dealt with firmly so that families can feel safe again.
