Agreed. In the late 70s, my godson came home at the end of his first week. I asked him if he’d made a special friend. It was Iqbal. His mum (sadly) asked if he was brown. His response? I don’t know, I’ll look on Monday.

There was a wonderful clip a few years back with two young boys, one black and one white, who got the same haircut to trick their teacher. Hate is learnt behaviour indeed.

You're absolutely right. Billions of people learn that hate from reading a book called the Quran.

This is a lovely video, it really is...but....understanding that people are different does not equal hate. Surely it is a good thing to see we all have differences, but that these differences should not be sources of hate, fear, misunderstanding or inequality.
