"Nafees Chishti, Farooq Chishti, and four other men were among them," says Saroj (name changed), a victim of the 1992 Ajmer blackmail and grooming Case, while speaking to us after 33 years. Because of this gang, operated by the Khadims of Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Saroj never found happiness in life. She married twice and was abandoned each time. Her mental state changed forever. Who is responsible for this and is justice really served? When this happened to Saroj, she was just 18. The gang stripped her, took pictures, raped her repeatedly, and recorded the act. They did this to more than 200 women, all Hindus. Do listen to her story, as we at Organiser Weekly are tracking the grooming gangs and their origins.
