This scene from The Clone Wars where Anakin interrogates Poggle The Lesser has always been one of the most unexpectedly disturbing moments in the entire series IMO. Such a dark sequence, and one that It just goes to show that as much as Palpatine further pushed Anakin towards the Dark Side, it wasn't (and never was) 100% his decision to fully make. There was always a piece of Vader inside of Anakin Skywalker, and the brutality here absolutely shows it.

We seriously don't talk enough about how absolutely terrifying Darth Vader was in the finale for Maul: Shadow Lord enough. The fact that Vader was able to hold his own against Maul and two Jedi using nothing but slow, heavy movements genuinely shows how powerful he truly is. A scary reminder that even someone as fast as Maul ultimately can't outmatch Vader in terms of raw strength.

Have always loved this deleted scene from Revenge of the Sith where Padme and other concerned Senators directly confront Palpatine about his emergency powers and a way to potentially end the Clone Wars. Really puts into perspective how Padme was a founding member of The Rebellion, whereas Anakin looms behind Palpatine as democracy continues to fall. Palpatine telling Anakin that he believes Padme is hiding something also makes his eventual fall to the Dark Side even more emotionally complex. Wish this made the final cut of Episode III.

Although I understand why it didn’t make the final cut, this deleted scene from Attack of the Clones has always been super interesting to me. Really cool seeing droids in the Jedi Temple working purely for investigative purposes. Also makes Obi-Wan’s visit with Dexter Jettster a little less jarring.

Todd Whitting knew as well as anybody that this could be his last game as University of Houston's baseball coach. But Whitting wanted to make sure the weekend didn't become about him. That it still centered around the seniors playing their last college game. Whitting simply went over and kissed his wife Tara and spent a few minutes with his family after the final out. "This program will never be about me," Whitting tells PaperCity Magazine. "It's about the people in it. It's about the people involved in it. I've been that way since day one. "That's why you never see my picture on anything. I made it clear 16 years ago that I'm not the face of the program. . . The players are the face of the program. "I've been adamant about that for years. It's never going to be a spotlight on me."

In my career, KAT has been the only player that has always been on the team. It’s going to be very odd to cover a Wolves team that he’s not a part of. We’ll dive into the trade plenty — still wrapping my head around it. But for now, want to say I’m grateful for the respect he always treated me with — not a given in this industry, especially as independent media. Karl and I became some version of friends over the years. And for me, that will always be something that will stick with me as the years go on. ✌️KAT

In The Godfather Part II, a deleted scene shows two of Don Ciccio’s henchmen going to Vito’s mother after his older brother is killed, demanding that she hand the boy over. Years later, Vito returns to Sicily as a grown man and tracks down those same two henchmen in scenes that were also cut from the film, before finally confronting Don Ciccio himself. These scenes were cut for pacing, but they’re worth watching because they show how ruthless and methodical Vito was as a young man in carrying out his revenge — a side of him we rarely see in the finished films.

I've got enough experience doing this to know that it's probably going to be weeks rather than months for Mr. Atlas. Our wonderful house dog at Happy Doggo has had two huge operations and we've given him every chance imaginable. I've just noticed in the past few days that his energy levels have dropped. He's taken an extra hour in his bed. He's having longer lounges on the couch. His energy has dipped and his eyes are just that little bit cloudy. that has all been confirmed by blood work and lots of different tests. We are a rescue and ultimately we're judged on how many dogs we can save. I always knew that it would be a quality of life thing with Atlas and that ultimately we would not be able to give him a long life. I do happen to believe, though, that the work we do in making these dogs happy at the end of their lives is just as important as anything else we do at scale. Atlas is still at that stage where he has great spurts of energy and goes on walks and looks for attention from all his favorite humans. We'll wrap him up in cotton wool, pamper him, shower him in love and get him all the meds he can have. No stone will go unturned to make sure Atlas continues to live his dream life while he can. I always say that dogs live in the moment. Atlas can't remember his horrid times on the streets or his massive tumor that he carried around for years. All he knows is the love, attention, great food, and wonderful life he will have today. Every other day will be a bonus and we’ll be with him every step of the way ❤️

One thing I’m really hoping to see in #SpiderManBrandNewDay is a great transformation scene of Banner turning into The Hulk. One thing I loved about the 2008 movie is how they really leaned into it. The body horror aspect of it all, with Bruce’s bones breaking as the monster is unleashed. I genuinely hope they give us something good. It’s been a while since we have seen the savage monster. Might as well reintroduce him with a bang.

We've seen countless flashbacks to Order 66, but this moment from Rebels where Kanan expresses his feelings about it to Ezra is arguably one of the most emotionally impactful ones. Although it's a moment we all know too well by this point, with only dialogue and zero flashback visuals, Kanan perfectly expresses that situation in a way that makes us feel both the tragedy and terror of Order 66 all over again unlike ever before. Have always appreciated this episode for not just bringing back Captain Rex, but allowing both of these characters to express their respective grief, attempt to earn each other's trust, and ultimately reconcile as allies once again. Such an amazing episode.
