Have decided to start a thread project with ClipMaker I’m calling “Pivot Watch”. For as many Chelsea league matches I can get my hands on this season, we’ll zoom in on the performance of the starting/prevalent pivot in the middle third only. Starting with GW1 - James x Lavia

🚨 Chelsea have the SECOND-BEST midfield in the Premier League on paper, according to the panel. 👀🔥 Caicedo. Enzo Fernández. Lavia. Henderson. Rodri. “Balance, depth and personnel… it’s a HELL of a midfield.” 💙 Only Arsenal were ranked above Chelsea, with Liverpool third and Man United fourth.

Don’t miss this one-time-only event! Tomorrow, April 16 at 5 PM ET, for the first time ever, I’m streaming “Par 6”, the first film I starred in 25 years ago! Join me! While we stream it, we’ll all be on a watch-party zoom together so you can offer me real-time critiques of my performance (and I can watch your face as you cringe)! PS. I’m going to repost on social the most cutting roasts of my “performance,” so this event could also make YOU “famous!”

Two years ago, I went to the Olympic Games in Paris and had the pleasure of seeing my two favorite teams face off in one of the greatest men’s volleyball matches OF ALL TIME. Poland 🇵🇱 vs USA 🇺🇸 I’m going to make a thread of my favorite moments, starting with this ❤️ #gangłysego

I tweeted that I’d be starting my content when the new season begins and a Good Samaritan on x decided to support me in the best way possible. 😭 I genuinely appreciate you so much. Thank you for believing in me & supporting what I’m about to start. May God bless you abundantly.

Panichelli 20 goals in all competitions this season, 16 in the league, & Strasbourg are in two Q.finals. If I’m Clear Lake, I’d focus on Strasbourg instead of Chelsea...they look like a project with clearer direction. . . #strasbourg #chelsea #england #premierleague #ligue1

Will forever support my school win or loss but I have to call out what I see in times like this. It’s so early in the season so if they get things cleaned up this can easily be the only loss of the season. Starting THIS WEEK #goducks

Andrew Garfield on #Oscars buzz for his performance as Sam Altman in “Artificial”: “As I get older, I’m starting to understand that the things outside of ourselves we just have no control over. And the only consistent thing for me is trying to make work that I feel proud of. And I feel really really proud of this film.”

I’ve arrived in New York City to cover Everton in the Premier League Summer Series. I’m the only UK journalist following the Blues for the duration of the trip so stick with the Echo - starting with open training on Thursday - and don’t miss a kick 🇺🇸💙

One of the biggest positives for me with Rosenior's appointment is to do with the different solutions he looks for from an out of possession perspective. This is especially crucial for Chelsea who've mostly defended the middle third specifically in a mix of a man-man and zonal approach, which, as I've pointed out so many times, can leave the team open. As h and Patrick explain below, and as mentioned in my Rosenior analysis thread, this can often look like a 5-2-3 defensive structure which then transitions into a man-man. I think this is a better way to go because Chelsea can now choose to be more passive, at times, while still having the option to selectively press aggressively. I'm specifically referring to the middle third again. Shifting to this, I think, can help improve Chelsea defensively. Adding more supplementary material below.

Big games in the Premier League this season have been DISGRACEFUL, how can Arsenal vs Chelsea be decided by 3 corners? We have a serious problem in this league!
