I believe despite the possibility of there being mental illness in some form or another we shouldn't be ignorant to the level of evil that had to be present in that home! To tie up the husband with enough errands that would take enough time to make sure that she could have an uninterrupted opportunity to snuff out 3 of her children . The 'command voice' was never mentioned prior to the murders. Not only that, she never mentioned or alluded to a command voice when her husband found her after the act, when she supposedly did its bidding. She only brings it up much later, and never experiences it ever again.
