Elysium is one of the more interesting films Matt Damon’s ever taken on & it’s actually a project I really enjoy, despite the naysayers. I think this film explores themes of environmentalism with a lot of thought, which had to have motivated Damon to do this. It’s worth watching.

American Gangster is on Netflix & I’d be lying if I didn’t say I watched it this in parts while doing things around the house. I actually do kinda consider this an all-time great gangster film. Denzel & Crowe are just that good. I think people were too critical of this in ‘07.
