After the resounding success of last year's first event, the Edinburgh Tartan Parade returns in just a few weeks' time - Saturday 9th May 2026. An annual celebration of heritage, culture and inclusivity, this year's event is set to be even bigger and better than the last, showcasing a display of tartan-clad participants marching through the historic streets of Edinburgh. ✨ You can watch the parade beginning on the Royal Mile at 1pm, which will march down to Princes Street Gardens, followed by a Ceilidh in the Gardens from 2pm onwards.

The recent unprecedented weather event in the UAE and the operational disruptions it caused at #DXB have been a great challenge for us all, but it has been the most challenging for our guests who’ve had to spend much longer than they expected at our terminals. To bring some comfort to them during this time, our team of ground staff and volunteers has worked tirelessly around the clock to deliver more than 73,000 packs of snacks and water. We understand the frustration and distress that the past few days have caused many travellers, and we thank you all for your patience and understanding as our operations recover. Please know that your welfare is, and will always continue to be, our number one priority.

How can we “mark” time? The best way to mark time is through the zodiacal constellations, as the Venetian clock dedicated to Saint Mark does. These precessional clocks are designed to keep track of the ages, or aeons of man, mentioned in the Bible. In the Gospel of Mark, the signs associated with the end of the age are listed, and we know from the Gospel of Matthew that the “harvest” of souls occurs at the end of the age. We are close to the end of the Age of Pisces, as measured by the position of the vernal equinox, and we can see that almost all the signs mentioned in Mark have been fulfilled. Mark’s symbol is the winged lion, representing the celestial Lion—the constellation Leo.

Open Letter to MP Iqbal Mohamed, I recently watched your video where you stated: “Let the West… let the enemies not divide us.” Since you are a sitting Member of the British Parliament, this raises some serious questions that demand clarification: 1. If the West is your “enemy,” then what exactly are you doing representing a British constituency in the UK Parliament – which sits in the heart of the West, in London? You cannot call the very nation you serve an enemy while holding public office within it. 2. Do you genuinely feel safe living among these “enemies” in the UK? If you truly believe this country and its people are hostile, then standing for political office here contradicts your own statement. 3. Are you stepping back from the oath you took – in the name of Allah – to bear true faith and allegiance to His Majesty King Charles and to uphold the laws and values of the United Kingdom? Your words appear fundamentally at odds with the responsibilities and loyalty required of a British MP. 4. How do you justify using taxpayer-funded British institutions, resources, and a parliamentary salary while simultaneously portraying the West as an enemy? I remember working in New York in my mid to late 20s… and the summer would come around… those incredible sunny days in the city… ton of people walking around enjoying themselves… you would only get a glimpse of it at lunch when you split off the desk to wait in line at Dos Toros or the corner deli. Then you’d go right back to your desk to jam on some financial model or some IPO or secondary trade or some mega project the bank as you all doing. And I remember saying to myself… there’s absolutely no way I will be working inside an office on nice days ever again in my life. And that was, in a way, the true beginning.
