I have looked into flight paths and flight times, and nothing works on flat earth. How is the flight time from Sydney to Santiago similar to the flight time from Sydney to Vancouver? Shouldn't the flight time be at least twice as long on flat earth? Oh, yeah, earth's a globe!

Why don’t bus routes go straight to my house?

The flat earth map is impossible and doesn’t fit reality at all. That specific map has been debunked.

Yea, funny how they all use great circle spherical distances for accurately calculating the distance. Hmmm...now why would you get wildly inaccurate results with a planar distance metric if the Earth is flat? Its a mystery... I'm also partial to this flight path.

I was about to chime in and then I saw how badly you already got destroyed in the comments. 😂 Why do you do this to yourself?

Australia to Chile in 12 hours. Imposible on Flerf model which has them at least 35,000 miles apart

Today all international and transcontinental air routes are laid along the shortest distance on the FLAT Earth. Commercial aviation is an economy and fuel costs are the main expenses in the ticket price and accordingly affect profitability and passenger traffic.

Perhaps but there would need to be a lot of these because from a business perspective I believe a lot more people will want to go to LA than Sydney. You'd need to know how many were going to LA vs Sydney because then it probably would make a lot more sense .

How many people would be on a direct flight from Lima to Sydney? Count the empty seats. There is your answer. Takes going from LA to have a plane load. People in the USA are used to this. Pacific travel isn’t Europe travel.
