Huh! Onneksi ei käynyt pahemmin! Mulle melkein kävi sama kerran. Renkaanvaihdossa yksi pyörä oli jätetty kiristämättä, pyörä lonksui ja ehdin ajaa läheiselle korjaamolle. Siellä totesivat, että pultit aivan löysästi kiinni. Aina pitäis olla perään katsomassa!

That’s exactly the point! Thank goodness I was still on that small street (Industrial st, Naples), just turned right from Domestic St, when I heard the terrible noise and felt the car ”collapse” and I understood the tyre was gone! Immediate shock. Saw the tyre on the lawn other side of road, went to get it. Of course couldn’t. The Good Samaritan in a truck (asked for his business card thank god) stopped, helped me. Waited with me until the garage guy came. The Good S. looked at me said do not get run over by a car and only then, Only then did I realize how busy that street was!

"Lost" a tyre? I've once lost a wheel, with the tyre still on it – went past me doing c. 60 km/h on Itäväylä. Fortunately I did find it later in the central reservation bushes, so it wasn't 'lost' forever.

Good luck in the accident, it's comforting though. There could have been a reason for something worse here. New tires! Whoever installed the tires was very negligent..he has to pay for the damage! Surely the insurance will cover it!?

Jameni, niambieni hapa, naona mambo ya ajabu! I took my car to the garage where the mechanic replaced the brake pads. We made sure the tyres were reinstalled and that all the wheel nuts were tightened. The senior mechanic confirmed that everything was intact, and I even asked my PA to verify that the nuts had indeed been tightened. I personally made sure they had done so. On Saturday, I started hearing an unusual noise coming from the rear of the car. I initially thought it was caused by worn-out bushes. The noise continued on Sunday, and since I did not want to take any chances, I decided that on Monday I would take the car back to the garage to have the bushes checked and repaired. Today, while with my driver, I asked him to help identify where the sound was coming from. That is when we discovered that it was coming from one of the tyres. Out of the five wheel nuts on that tyre, four were loose to the extent that you could remove them by hand, while one was extremely tight. The tyre treads are all intact and in good condition. Engineers and mechanics, is this situation possible due to vibration, or could it have been intentional? Kindly advise, because this could have easily resulted in a very serious accident. Na waseme ni accident ya kawaida tu ! Anyway God is in control!

"I don't want to use the parallel, but my parents loved garage sale-ing. That was their deal, the one thing they enjoyed together. And I think I had 10 couches growing up, right. And so they come home with a new couch and you'd remove the old one. And you were so excited -- It was a sectional -- until you sat in the left corner and it wiggled. And then you realized why it was a free agent. And so, you just have to really do your homework and spend a lot of time on it."

Me last night. Feeling much better. Miracles. And the airbags worked well Elon Musk but the price for a new car like this dropped tremendously. This is why I dont open my door for nobody. They can leave the package at the door. This past year, I had three men show up at my front door. Luckily, I have huge widows. They said their car broke down and they had been waiting for help to come. It was hot and they asked for water. So I went into my garage and grabbed three water bottles. Set it outside of my garage door. And then went back to the front door and told them to check outside the garage door. I refused to open my front door. Be careful, folks. This is a huge scam going around to do a home invasion.
