These are all maples…it’s more of a tree sandwich but same idea.

Oak and pine in spiral embrace, permanently joined somehow. Jasper, Alabama

A squirrel did that

It happens often! I've never seen that particular one! Cool! 😎

That is a really cool tree.

❤️ Reminds me of:

They should have called it birth of an oak tree. Seriously that is special.

its not 2 trees growing together like this 1 but this reminded me of 1 of the most amazing things i’ve ever seen n person bc it involved an oak tree. i figured any1 who thought this was cool would also love “The Angel Oak tree” on John’s Island, South Carolina. 400-500 years old

In Tanzih, Taichung, Taiwan, is a shrine dedicated to a single tree made of a lychee and mango tree. They used to fruit, but I think the lychees stopped.

Big set of balls on the side too.

No I haven't even heard of it. That's really neat though!

It is an anostomosis. I made this sketch for my novel's back cover.

Cool😲❣️

Just saw this in Sonoma County.

I had two different oak trees do this. Had two different leaves and acorns.

Cool beans

@trike_racer I have a picture of that one, I am pretty sure.

@RagingKuJo1222 Cool

I LOVE St. Francisville. Worked for Crown Zellerbach/James River for 10 years. I can actually say I LOVED my job!

@gr33nthumb3388 Wow

@Gitmo99 Fabulous thank you

Zeb Walton’s brother grafted those trees. I saw it on TV.

@1OgOutlaw I'm never seen a cedar oak but I have seen an oak tree do this with the mesquite tree in South Texas.. well technically the oak was there and the mesquite tree kind of grew into it.. I don't know for sure how it happened I just know what I saw bro

A tree marriage! That's amazing! ♥️

Created by god? Nature did that, not done fairy tale.

That’s cool

That’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen

That is very cool

Yes I have in St. Mary's, Georgia and in my backyard in Lakeway, Texas

A tree in a tree! That's incredible!

Bet ya that tree strong as fuckkkk.

Looks to me like a Juniper tree or some may call it eastern red cedar. Juniperus virginiana

Looks like the cedar is winning

@NamVetSon6948 Whoa!!

@MoundLore I encountered similar trees in the woods of Central Mississippi when I was a kid. But I didn't have a camera.

I've taken the ferry at St. Francisville across the Mississippi River several times.
