Have you ever tried this method as a makeshift solution for wall dampness? How effective?

Why bother with mixing A + B + C? There are many cheap solutions in after-care water-proofing solutions before repainting, from DIY. Eg. “Sika”. I used “Sika” (Swiss) for all toilets, concrete roofing during the construction phase. Eg. 👇

The Romans realised that due to capillary action water will rise about 700mm in a brick wall, when wet at the bottom. Hence, floors were generally elevated above this height. If you have damp issues, etheir replace the DPC or remove internal render to allow the wall to breathe

There are dozens of engineered products for waterproofing and in 50 years of construction, I have seen them all fail if the source of the intrusion isn't abated. Not to mention white glue is a water emulsion and shouldn't dissolve in mineral spirits.

Unless you fix the source of the dampness, this method is as good as covering your eyes and thinking noone can see you

Ridiculous, you need to find the root cause of the rising, falling, or penetrating damp first and fix that. Then desalinate, then re paint if necessary

Ok @BreakingVlad que tan efectivo es esto y luego de aplicarlo, la pintura se adhiere a esa superficie con esa mezcla?

@grok does it work?

@ahamananta

100% works I've tried some time ago

Bahan campurannya apa saja itu, @grok?

I will definitely try this out

air gap scab wall put paneling or drywall up, min 1/2 inch off ground. painting concrete inside with moisture barrier on exterior is gonna be a bad time

Capillarity of water will make you learn.
