Junction by junction the flares are being removed in @favershamtc. Shame to have to spend taxpayer money twice - once to get it wrong and then again to put it right. (Btw, I know this is not perfect, but it's better than before)

In this car park, why does it say "Beware Cars" to pedestrians, but not "Beware Pedestrians" to drivers? Nobody seems to consider that there are more pedestrians than drivers using a car park.

Happy City and Bikenomics are well worth reading. Itโ€™s amazing how the UK infrastructure is so car centric, even the bends in roads that psychologically encourage drivers to go faster.

Interesting, the road I live on is from the late 1900s, the corners are a very tight radius, probably about 1 meter.
