I haven't posted about the world's greatest drummer, El Etepario Siberiano in a long time. This man has taken drumming to an entirely new level. I’m done hiding what I’ve been going through. Since im cleared now, I will be taking in person meetings. But here’s the truth. Lost an EYEBROW to thyroid issues due to working nonstop in the lab with endocrine disruptors around. Something women uniquely have to go through. I haven’t taken one day off and I will not. But: I’m done hiding it. It’s reversible (non scarring alopecia) and my energy and my eyebrow are both going to get better soon. As a woman you have to face more than other people. But it’s my fault that I put in too much work without caring for my health. I take accountability.

This is Tina today. She’s on top top form but her vet results were not good. Her kidney failure has gotten worse. I wanted to explain how and why today is a great day though… 👩‍⚕️ A team of vets (yes Tina has a team around the world offering their services for free) have said there is nothing more that can be done. It’s time to just manage her comfort. ⏰ Tina might have a few weeks or at best a few months left. 💊 She has blood pressure medicine and everything else she could need (her kidneys can’t support any more medicines) 🥘 She has a special diet that a very kind lady donated to her. The best of the best. Now the good stuff… ☀️ Tina is still feeling great. She is full of energy and went on numerous walks in the sun today 🎾 She still plays non stop with her beloved tennis balls 🥰 Tina gets endless messages of support and love from around the world. I tell her about them every single day. 😁 Tina is happiest when with her human. I’ve tailored my life so she is barely ever alone. She thrives with company and it relaxes her. 🤷‍♂️ I know people will wonder how today is a good day? It’s a good day because Tina is happy, feeling good, loved and playing. She has everything she ever dreamed of. Dogs don’t think about yesterday or look ahead to tomorrow. They live in the moment. And in the moment everything is great for Tina. ❤️ There will be tougher days ahead but today is a great day. One of Tina’s favorite Sundays ever. I can tell she’s never been happier. Her world is complete. Tina doesn’t know what is coming and my role is to just help her love her life and enjoy every second she has. Tina could have been dead alone and sad months ago and never have known any of this. She’s touched people all over the world and people think about her daily. Snow flurry fever for Saturday night! It’s true, there’s a chance of Gulf Effect Flurries Saturday night. While not likely, it’s about as good a shot as we get in the Tampa Bay Area. This animation shows how Gulf Effect works. You need a long, cold fetch over “warm” water. We have that, although more NW wind rather than NNW would be better. You need at least a 25° difference between the Gulf temp and the cloud level. We have 40°+! And you also need decently moist air… And here’s the issue. We have enough moisture in the clouds but very dry air above it. So if this is going to happen, the instability due to the huge temp difference has to overcome the dry cap above. Given that cloud temps will be all-time record #cold, there’s a small chance of #snow ❄️ flakes. Small but mighty 🙂
